When importing into unity, for some reason, it includes the grey background. Were they removed?
Within the "Sprite Sheet" folder for each animation, there should be a full sprite sheet with a transparent background.

I searched under tools for "top down character sprite template" and your asset didn't turn up at all on the first page at least! You should add some more keywords and tags to help SEO and itch.io's searchability! Great asset though! Thank you!

love all your work man .. looks great !! .. i do have a suggestion for the future animations ... 8 directional dash , 8 directional firearm (pistol ) animations (aiming & firing) while walking running & standing still , 8 directional Kusarigama (chain-scythe) attack , a floaty levitating stylized 8 directional movement set ( like dragon ball z characters just calmly not on the ground) or an 8 directional movement set for skateboard ( or surfboard or hoverboard or witches broom ) or instead of a board a bike or a horse

Seriously though, please finish the run cycle as it's almost a universal necessity for developers using this template as a base.

Thank you so much for having this amazing template! I was just about to practice on a pixel RPG game and this template would definitely be a strong help!
For future animations, I believe bow attack and lance attack on a horse could be fantastic add-on to this template. I am not sure how to draw a horse, so having a horse template would be definitely amazing. I saw bunch of amazing ideas in the comments too, for example sitting, laying, falling to knees, looting/picking up something, etc. These are frequently used in RPG and would be a strong add-on.

I want to perform ranged attacks with a bow, and it should be possible to move in 8 directions while aiming.

why is the background blue? makes it hard to use out of the box with it not just being a transparent background
Once purchased, are we eligible to receive free updates or do we have to pay for them as well? I would love a spell cast animation too, i hope it gets considered in future updates.
