Get Started with RTX Remix

RTX Remix is a modding platform by NVIDIA, which allows modders to create stunning HD remasters of classic games, with ray tracing and DLSS. Playing RTX mods requires a RT capable GPU.

Join RTX Group

How do I find a Remix Compatible Game?
Games marked as Remix Status "Playable" indicate that the game will boot and have valid graphics. This game can be worked on with RTX Remix! View the Remix Status Key for more information.

What is an RTX Conf File and how do I use it?
Choose your compatible game, download its rtx.conf configuration file, and drop the latest RTX Remix runtime and rtx.conf file next to the game's executable file. For more on how to get started check out our guide.

How do I make a RTX Remix mod?

What is this page?
ModDB has collaborated with the Remix community to organize all compatible games, and provide a home for community made mods, guides, files (USD captures and PBR assets) built using RTX Remix.

Remix Status Key

Playable

Game boots, has valid graphics, and you can reasonably complete the game

Partially Playable

Game boots and has good enough graphics to play. You can play it, but you cannot complete it for various reasons, such as needing replacements to see in required areas. Another example is that it may crash or is unstable

Unplayable

Remix loads and there are signs of path tracing, but visuals are very broken or the game is unstable to the point of rendering the game unplayable

Remix Hooks

Remix hooks and displays some form of path tracing, but the visuals are highly unstable or large chunks of the environment are missing, rendering the game unplayable

Remix Incompatibility

Remix itself is incompatible with the game due to a bug or error, but is within the scope of Remix's compatibility

Game Issue

The game itself is incompatible or throws errors (such as missing GPU warnings)

Wrapper Issue

The wrapper used doesn't allow the game to function with Remix

Unknown Issue

The issue cannot be determined. It may be Remix, the game, wrapper, or something else

Doesn't Boot

The game doesn't show any visuals, whether it's a black screen or not booting at all

Too New

The game is too new, requiring either shader support or does not support a fixed function pipeline. Unlikely to ever be supported by Remix
