Willard: Full version 1.5
Full Version 7 commentsWillard is an episode for Blood, consisting of 6 levels plus a standalone bonus map which is related to the main story. It also has in intro and ending...
VERSION 1.5 UPDATE: A new map, Pascow's Grocery, has been added. It's added in between the first two maps, with a new transition from the first. Installation has also been changed slightly, Willard.ini should be placed in your Blood folder and chosen in the "Game" menu when you start NBlood. The "Willard" folder is still chosen under "Custom game content directory". The first map broke in the update, it's now fixed! The store isn't accidently locked anymore.
Willard is an episode for Blood plus a standalone bonus map - "Fever Dream". The main episode also has an intro and ending movie.
For use with NBlood only! Vanilla limits are exceeded and modern features are used. I wish I could make it playable on anything, but as it is at least right now NBlood is the only port that supports all this.
The main episode consists of 6 levels. It takes place a few decades after the original game, in and around a remote ghost town far out in the woods.
Strange things have been reported from the area and Caleb goes to investigate... The story is told from messages, make sure you read any square or rectangular shaped books you find (not the voxel books). While it certainly has action in places, it’s more about atmosphere. It's not really aimed towards the super hardcore action crowd really, there are many other great addons to satisfy that need. Big thanks to BloodyTom for converting the intro and outro to smk files for me!
It's meant to be played alone at night with headphones.
The bonus map "Fever Dream" is chosen from the episode select screen. I don't know if undead badass gunslingers dream, but if they do this is my take on it. It's standalone but still related - some of the locations you'll go to will be memories from the main episode, in twisted ways.
Before you start, make sure to read the readme file!!!
Also - if you find bugs or something that doesn't seem to work quite right please tell me. I've mostly play tested this myself and it's hard to know what other players might do in certain situations.
Enjoy!
Also, check out my new Blood add-on "Nightmares": Nightmares

This looks like a very interesting little mod, I'll have to give it a try some day.
Sad it doesn't work for RAZE, I tried it myself, I know it won't work on it because there's apparently 10 Fat Zombies in Fever Dream, but in NBlood it's just the window glass breaking.
Whatever the case, I can play NBlood still, just prefer RAZE, can't wait to try this!
Strogglet15 Hi! Yes unfortunately it won’t work in Raze, it doesn’t support modern features anymore. What do you mean by the window glass breaking?
Also, I’m working on a new Blood project now, more info to come. 😀
What I mean is that the window glass breaking is actually 10 Fat Zombies appearing out of nowhere, if you're playing it on Raze that is.
Also, what do you mean "it doesn’t support modern features anymore"? Raze actually had a Regress update? Don't you mean, it actually never supported them in the first place?
Strogglet15 Lol, that’s weird! Do you mean in the cabin in Fever Dream? It shouldn’t even be possible to get there in Raze though.
Yes, when I started working on Willard Raze still supported modern features. I don’t know why it stopped doing that, but I guess they had reasons to make that choice.
Hey Bloodskar just wanted to say, the problem I mentioned with the fat zombies? It was a bug on my end, unrelated to your map, although related to RAZE.
It seems that after 1.6, RAZE became very..."indecisive" so to say with how things should work. Basically, any mod I use, voxel especially, will cause sprite problems for no reason.
Anyway, still playing your mod, it's one of the best I've played yet these days!
Strogglet15 Hmm, I don’t know much about Raze at this point. It’s annoying sometimes with all these different ways of playing the game with there own pros and cons.
Sad can't play at "Blood: Fresh Supply"
Yes, it’s unfortunate. If you really want to, and depending on how you bought Fresh Supply, you could download the original for free and use NBlood.
I think good idea to optimize this Mod for "Blood: Fresh Supply"
That’s not really possible, a lot of it would have to be remade from scratch into something else, and that’s not something I want to do.
oh, it is impossible just to add some a optimize commands (codes) ?, this Mod is work on "Blood: Fresh Supply" but only if i'm launch it by "User Maps" mode, maybe optimizing is a good idea to make a stable full game, ?
No, even if you can get some of the maps to run in FS they won’t work properly because of the modern features used.
hm, what a fuctions you about ?, i'm playing is good but without some moments (no Intro (if you have it), no music, and a little unstable FPS), but all other is great (animations, design, enemies, moving a Car in one of levels)
There are a lot, some big things (like the boss like enemies) and a truck load of smaller things. Also it exceeds the vanilla limits a lot when it comes to sectors/walls/sprites, I’m not sure exactly what the limits are in FS when it comes to that stuff, but I doubt it can run some of the maps. I don’t own FS myself so I can’t test that.
oh, i'm seriously know "Blood: Fresh Supply" have a good compatibility with another Mods (anything Mods), but for playing a full game (with campaign, Intros (if it have), music and anything like that (details)) it need add a compatibility for playable, without it i can't launch example just a single player game by choose a episode to play, it is just back to main menu again, but by "User Maps" mode (it is in menu) you can choose a one of the levels of needed to play a Mod, and it is work great but without a specified details like a Intros (if it have) music and etc
I’m sorry but it doesn’t work like that. At the moment at least, NBlood is the only port that support modern features. Most mods don’t use those, but for the ones that do it’s required.
I think you need to test at "Blood: Fresh Supply" to know what possible to do, i think it's real to make a support for "Blood: Fresh Supply" of your Mod
Look, I already told you - FS does not support modern features. There’s nothing I can do about that. I can’t make Willard playable in FS without changing it from the ground up, which I won’t. You, on the other hand, can easily download NBlood if you want to play it.
ah, you mean you use "Blood: Fresh Supply", :), i don't understand that, you said you don't have "Blood: Fresh Supply" that why i'm asking a next to you
