News / What comes next?

Hello there everyone. Thought I'd reach out and let you all know what's the current status of things now that ISM3 was released. I've seen all sorts of speculations, hearsay, requests, etc. and my responses often get lost in the vastness of discord and Youtube. So here's the official word

IMPROVED SIDES 3
Hope you are enjoying the first version of the mod. Even though the mod is out, that doesn't mean it's finished yet.
• First, I've been fixing the bugs that were reported, there's only one I cannot seem to fix and that is the missing textures / crashing on space for certain users (since it happens to only a few users, it's very hard to debug, in my build I do not have that for instance). We'll see how that goes... tricky one.
Also, custom weapon icons might cause issues with addon mods, so we might have to say goodbye to those and use OG icons like ISM2 used to do. We'll see.
• Second, setting up Skin Defaults feature. We have a plan for setting up skindefaults (like ISM2 did) that if all goes well, it will be way better and I'm sure it will blow your minds. It's in the works, hope we can pull it off.
• Thirdly, once all that is done it will be included in BF2 Remaster installer (dw, I will make an announcement).

# And then?
I have a few unfinished maps that will come out after that,Realistic Hoth remake (basically Empire Strikes Back version) is one of my favourites. It needs a few weeks of dedicated work and it will be ready. I also had a Realistic Felucia sketch that I would love to bring to life, and I think I have the skills to pull it off now. More custom maps could be coming once I'm done with ISM3. These things are time consuming.

# Battlefront 1 ports + remake?
There has been a lot of requests for me to do Battlefront 1 maps (for BF2). Guess what? Yes, I had plans for that, that's why I did Bespin Platforms. There will be remakes of other maps if there's enough interest.
