A Unique Digimon that simultaneously carries two Digicores—beast and machine—within a single body. It is composed of data that differs in nature on its left and right sides, separated down the middle of its body.
It wields the power of "Eschaton", which forcibly fuses things differing in nature. There are various ways in which it utilizes this, such as triggering an explosion by colliding the two forms of data generated from its left and right palms, or forcibly merging different data with an enemy, inflicting damage through them rejecting it.
Ex Maquinamon is a being with many mysteries, and no additional detailed data on it has been confirmed.

Digimon Liberator[edit]

Ex Maquinamon is the Partner Digimon of Unchain. Metatromon evolves into this form in "DIGIMON / LIBERATOR" by absorbing Dalphomon. However, Dalphomon was hacked by Cool Boy to carry a trojan before being absorbed by Metatromon, which caused Unchain's programming to become like those of a regular NPC, meaning that he cannot refuse any and all duel requests.
