Ashley Wright’s passion for agricultural sustainability is only overshadowed by her love of strawberries. Her long-term goal is to release varieties of strawberries with resistance built into the plant to reduce environmental impact.

Mikayla Bowen decided to follow in her father’s footsteps and pursue a bachelor’s degree at MSU. “My dad has always worked in the dairy industry and has inspired me,” Bowen said. “MSU has always been my first choice because of its agriculture programs."
