    Tomorrow, Oct 3, is the 2021 Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon. The first was run in 1982, merging separate Minneapolis and St. Paul events. Runners pass the Minnesota History Center in the final stretch. Good luck runners! Artwork from the 1990 results book in our collection.

    Happy fall equinox! In Blue Mound State Park, a mysterious old stone wall atop the cliff is aligned with the equinox. There are competing theories who built the wall and why, but it's not proven the alignment was on purpose. Photo ©Jim Brandenburg
