Financial Contributions

Dear Friends and Donors,

I extend a hearty Spartan greeting and appreciation for the part you play in our forward momentum of ability and opportunity. Your partnership is contributing to our collective leadership in world-class efforts to fully engage students in the promise of an MSU education; effectively allowing over 1,500 students to prevail over a range of disability challenges. MSU's heritage of leadership in accessibility extends from the 1934 Tower Guard honor organization's efforts reading for blind students, to the post-polio inclusion of people with mobility challenges, welcoming deaf students to the classroom and now fully connecting a new generation of people with various hidden disabilities from learning disabilities to chronic health, mental health, and autism spectrum disorders. Today's RCPD represents a premiere program for accessibility with signature programs and services, engaged students, determined staff, support from executive management, and a growing network of alumni and friends like you who help us extend our reach and quality.

This year marks the kick-off of a new MSU Capital Campaign called Empower Extraordinary. The RCPD is keenly visible in this campaign with two fantastic features already underway. I strongly encourage you to take a look at the Alex Powell Great State Race event; It is bringing welcomed attention to the RCPD and evidencing how vital our services are to families. Similarly, Jordyn Castor's story called "Wall Street Ready" received acclaim as empowering and firmly centered on the extraordinary potential of each of our students no matter the challenges they face. I look forward to your continued partnership and to meeting others you think may be empowered by our mission.

Thank you,

Michael Hudson, Director
