Rintindumb is a 2006-2007 Animated Series by Xilam Animation.
The series is a Spin-Off of Morris' Lucky Luke comic book series starring Luke's dog Rantanplan (known here as Rintindumb). He believes himself to be a genius in everything he does, but is in fact the total opposite of that. The cartoon mainly revolves around the various Slice of Life things that Rintindumb gets up to.
The series debuted and aired on Canadian channel YTV.
Rintindumb contains examples of:
- Dogs Are Dumb: Rintindumb's intellect remains the same in this series.
- Hong Kong Dub: A lot of the dialogue in the English dub doesn't really match with the lip movements.
- One-Word Title: Rintindumb, of course.
- Protagonist Title: Rintindumb, of course.
- Spin-Off: Of Lucky Luke.
- Talking Animal: Rintindumb, naturally. It also seems to apply to any other animal he comes across.
