- Love Interest: It's very heavily implied in the October 2025 Insiders, that the team captain will be the book's only love interest. This is confirmed in the first chapter.
- Noodle Incident: During a premium scene in Chapter 2, Nova can reveal that she for whatever reason, is no longer allowed to tickle Kei in public.
- Pair the Spares: The Beta Couple of the book, Kei Kobayashi and Serena, just so happen to be Nova and Reese's exes respectively.
- Reality TV: The October 2025 Insiders, confirmed that the main character will star in the show Game of Love, which is about basketball girlfriends competing in the spotlight.
- Romantic Fake–Real Turn: It's confirmed in the October 2025 Insiders, that the main character and team captain's relationship, will start out as fake. Although knowing that the team captain is the only Love Interest, their relationship is bound to turn real.
- Shared Universe:
- The show Game of Love is produced by Piper Long from America's Most Eligible.
- In Chapter 8, right before Nova and Reese exit the limo to talk with the press, Reese mentions Chatty Kathy Live.
- Also in Chapter 8, if Nova tells Agustin that she and Reese will offer a limited fashion-sports deal, Agustin will mention Octavia Olivier.
- Trash the Set: Right after Nova discovers Kei and Serena got back at her by hooking up Nova has the premium option to destroy the house she spent all of her time on. She can destroy the windows, bathroom, or the chandelier. Nova can also either, slap Serena with her bare hands, throw one of Kei's practice balls at her, or throw one of her stilettos at her. Finally, Nova can also throw Kei's stuff out too, spray paint a message on the side of the house, calling Serena elderly in the process, or make a speech to the neighbors, revealing the sensual act that Nova gave Kei for their last birthday.
