Tragibox (Video Game)

"I couldn't deal with it anymore. It wasn't fair. Something had to be done. They deserved endless torture beyond their understanding. If I can't understand, then when their time comes, they shouldn't understand either. I have the tools but I can't use them..."
— Log 1 - Dave Cander Ruy

Tragibox is an episodic horror mod based on Incredibox and directed by happy_man_banana. Each version has 20 characters that each create a sound that contributes to the song. These games also have their character bios in a separate upload.

A mysterious cult working with a hospital has started reviving the dead in order to torture them endlessly. They have claimed many lives and their motives are unknown

Currently, there are 2 versions. Version 1 is Orin Ayo (July 8, 2023), which is monochromatic and follows the events of a brutal apartment fire. Version 2 is Breakthrough (October 27, 2023), which has a few more colors like red added and follows the man behind it all making clones of himself until he develops the “perfect” one.

A fanmade remake made by Siren Bread, Pummel, and other developers was released on April 24, 2024, not only presented in a much more polished and detailed art style and several redesigned of some characters from the original, but also replace some of the original characters with new characters and the additions of two extras (with one of them is Melody 3 from Express). Mortibox - E.V.A.C.U.A.T.E. is a spin-off to Tragibox and is set in the same universe.

This game provides examples of:

  • Acid Attack: Done by accident to Kambell Robins after he bumped into a person holding the acid, causing gruesome acidic burns.
  • Alcohol-Induced Idiocy: Beat 4 climbed into a tiger enclosure while drunk. No points for guessing the End Result.
  • An Arm and a Leg:
    • Hart’s arms were burned off in an apartment fire.
    • James’s limbs were merged with the ferrofluid attaching him to the ceiling.
    • Smith Tanke lost his arms and a quarter of his head to a shotgun attack.
  • And I Must Scream: The fate of every polo here with very few exceptions. They are reanimated corpses resurrected by the cult specifically to endure torture.
  • And Your Little Dog, Too!: The cult killed James’s dog solely out of spite towards him.
  • Animal Testing: A 6 year old duck was the final experiment. It was given ferrofluid and made immortal. The cult then began torturing it
  • Applied Phlebotinum: Ferrofluid has no healing properties in real life, but is used as a revival substance. The new version of ferrofluid is never explained beyond resurrecting people.
  • Artificial Human: Dave Ruy created 5 clones of himself . Only 1 clone looks perfect, the rest have many deformities.
  • Bad People Abuse Animals
    • The cult killed James’s dog to make him suffer even more during torture and a duck was used in an experiment to be tortured forever.
  • Bioweapon Beast
    • Dave bio-engineered a massive worm to kill all unwanted passerby and serve as a security guard.
  • Body Horror: The vast majority of people in the game are heavily mutilated and/or distorted by ferrofluid.
  • Bungled Suicide: Cratz Pur tried to kill himself with a rock, but his metallic skull didn’t cave in.
  • Ceiling Corpse: James is stuck to the ceiling with ferrofluid.
  • Chekhov's Gunman: Tab was in ‘’Orin Ayo’’ with no explanation, even the document writer was confused by his appearance. Tab is explored far more in ‘’Breakthrough’’, where he works at a hospital, created clones of himself, was revealed to be the creator of the cult, and killed people.
  • Children Forced to Kill : Kurt was forced to commit arson by the cult, resulting in 3 known deaths (including his own).
  • Comically Inept Healing: Noah Dot died during a heart transplant gone wrong. The surgeons messed up so bad that the ribs were bent downwards, piercing the heart. Noah was never even the intended patient, Steve Corren was.
  • Corrupt Corporate Executive: Dave Ruy owns Ferrotech and used it to start a death cult.
  • Crash-Into Hello: Kambell Robins instantly had a crush on a woman that he saw while sneaking into the hospital that Dave worked at. Kambell accidentally bumped into this woman, causing her to drop strong acid all over him.
  • Cruel and Unusual Death: Most of the characters suffered through these in their backstory.
  • Cult: The cult tortures and experiments on people. Not much else is known about them.
  • Cyborg: Cratz Pur had his life saved by the cult with robotics after an extreme injury.
  • Dark Fic: Tragibox has far more murder and gore than any official version of Incredibox.
  • Deer in the Headlights: After seeing a corpse in the ventilation system, someone froze in place for 26 hours straight.
  • Did You Just Flip Off Cthulhu?: Kaski made a 3:AM parody video of the cult. The cult killed and revived her until she deleted her channel and had to go to therapy for 17 years.
  • Death in Custody: After 14 days, Hety demanded to leave the prison or she would die. 2 days later, Hety died from unknown circumstances.
  • Driven to Suicide: Cratz Pur attempted to kill himself after his roboticisation. He tried to smash his head with a rock, but the metal in his skull was too strong.

  • Eyeless Face: Dougg, Derick Mike and Devon lost their eyes from their deaths.
  • Eye Scream

    • Kambell Robins’ eye shriveled up and now droops down his face ever since the acid was spilled on him.
    • Mike Jacobs was stabbed in the eyes.
    • Sarah Beckem has her own blood dripping into her eyes, irritating them and turning them red.
  • Fatal Method Acting: Both Ethan and Lilac got murdered while on stage. Ethan accidentally dropped a tuba on his face after getting shot and Lilac was murdered by a shadowy figure covered in oiled wires.
  • Fate Worse than Death: Getting added to the chorus. Along with the constant pain from every wound you already had, you get tortured constantly.
  • Ghostly Gape: Derick’s mouth expands bigger than the size of his torso.
  • Hallucinations: Kurt suffered through these during his childhood with zero mental help.
  • Hanging Around: Mike Jacobs had his corpse suspended from the ceiling with a noose in order to serve as a living knife rack for the doctors.
  • Haunted Technology: The TV became haunted after being tampered with ferrofluid and human flesh.
  • Head Smashes Screen: Harley Hiley had her head smashed into with a paste with a television by Dave.
  • Hollywood Acid: Kambell Robins had his entire face melt off after accidentally bumping into a hospital worker openly carrying a bacterial acid.
  • Human Doorstop
    • Binder Todry had his head replaced by a clock hand and now he is kept in Dave’s closet as an antique.
    • Mike Jacobs donated his body to science. Due to coming in mutilated, the hospital decided to not use any of his parts during surgery. Instead, Dave revived him just to hang on the ceiling and use him as a makeshift knife rack.
  • Immortality Inducer: Ferrofluid gives immortality to those that make contact with it.
  • Immortality Seeker: Backfired on Alex Pockinson. He requested Dave to make him immortal, so he was put in a suspended animation chamber. He cannot move, speak, or breathe anymore. He will never die, but he will never live again.
  • Jumpscare: Imperfect Dave has a very low chance of jumpscaring the player.

  • Living Dream: Beat 1 is the manifestation of a censored man’s trauma after finding a corpse in the vents of his best friend’s house.

  • Living Statue: The sculpture contained a living, conscious person under it. Muffled screaming came out of the statue. It later died from its head snapping off. It continues to live in perpetual agony due to the interference of the cult.
  • Lobotomy: Smith Tanke was injured after drinking and driving. A doctor illegally lobotomized him. Smith was shot to death by a random person with a shotgun before the doctors could observe whether it worked or not.
  • Mad Scientist: Dave Ruy uses his ferrofluid to torture people. Dave also created many clones of himself in order to try to create a perfect version.
  • Medical Horror: The main antagonist (Dave Ruy) works in and got many of his victims from a hospital.
  • Me's a Crowd: Dave Ruy created 5 clones of himself, with one being nearly identical to him if he never had the skin pigment disorder.

  • People Jars: Alex was put in one forever after asking Dave for immortality.
  • Phlebotinum du Jour: Ferrofluid is a substance that is used for necromancy.
  • Police Brutality: Stanlee was beaten to death by the police outside of an old woman’s house. There was no mention of Stanlee having any weapons or even resisting.
  • Right on the Tick: Kurt set the apartment on fire on May 24 at 5:25 AM.
  • Self-Harm: Mack Hans attached his body to a series of wires, the main one is attached to his brain. He plucks the strings in order to give himself pain, deriving an unusual pleasure from it.
  • Shoot the Dog: The tiger that mauled Beat 4 to death was shot by a guard before it could develop a taste for human flesh.

  • Streaking: Stanlee stripped naked and ran around a homeless shelter after taking psilocybe cubensis.
  • Taken for Granite: The sculpture was put inside of the statue and remained alive and conscious.
  • Take Our Word for It: Dougg’s document had zero information on him. The only thing that it says is “He deserved it….” There is zero context and his crime is never elaborated on.

  • Too Many Mouths: The second clone of Dave Ruy has 2 sets of teeth where his eyelids should he.
  • 20 Minutes into the Future: Noah Dot and Mike Jacobs canonically died in 2026 and 2027, years after the games they are in were released.
  • Two Beings, One Body: AZ-TF were fused by accident during an experiment while the cult was trying to revive Alpha using parts of Zeta’s skin. They accidentally brought back both of their lives.
  • Unwilling Roboticisation: Cratz Pur was turned into a cyborg by the cult as the first experiment. After getting added to the chorus and enduring torture, Cratz was in so much pain that he tried to kill himself with a rock.
  • Unwitting Test Subject: None of the many subjects in the experiments consented.
  • Who Wants to Live Forever?
    • Alex Pockinson asked his coworker Dave to make him immortal. Dave put him in a tank of liquid. Now the only thing that Alex is able to do anymore is stare at Dave while he is working. This is his biggest and final regret.
    • Most of the cast has been immortalized, and none of them are enjoying it at all.
  • Would Hurt a Child: Several of the experiments were on teenagers and the cult forced Kurt to set an apartment complex on fire in order to further torture James. Kurt was chosen to commit it because he was 12 and had schizophrenia, giving plausible deniability to the cult.
