.
- Affectionate Nickname: Seleri calls Dilion "Didi".
- Alas, Poor Villain: In-universe after her final death, Seleri laments how unfortunate Seleri Briar was for her ultimately one-sided devotion to Cornell.
- Ascend to a Higher Plane of Existence: The Ascension, an event where witches become one with the Great Tree after reaching a certain age.
- Bittersweet Ending: Seleri Briar regains her sense of self and comes to terms with her dead clones. Unfortunately her body is taken over by Estival and Seleri has started decomposing, forcing Dilion to put an end to her suffering. Though The Stinger shows that he put her soul in a meat puppet, thus allowing her to keep living, she lost all her powers and it takes a while before she can reunite with Dilion again.
- Brain Uploading: Sort of. Seleri has "memory implants" — "uploaded, edited memories of the original Seleri Briar." We're not sure what does or doesn't get uploaded, though. In the Golden Ending, her soul is transplanted on a meat puppet, allowing for her to keep living, but losing her powers.
- Came Back Wrong: Played with. Clone Degeneration aside, all Seleri clones were doomed due to the original's self-destructive devotion to Cornell. The playable Seleri is the only one who lacks it and Cornell refers to her exclusively as this trope for it.
- Caring Gardener: Seleri works at a flower shop and she's a kind-hearted, bubbly girl.
- Chekhov's Gun: The mysterious letter. Nolia's sword also counts.
- Clone Degeneration: Seleri Briar's clones have a short lifespan, after which they begin rapidly decomposing. The protagonist happens to be the last of them and is on the verge of decomposing.
- Face Death with Dignity: Seleri knows she's going to die soon, and decides to spend her last moments with Dilion, while he desperately wants to find a way to keep her alive.
- The Fashionista: Seleri loves to dress up and make clothes.
- Foreshadowing: Despite being supposedly a famous sleuth, Seleri Briar will become disappointed if Dilion fails the detective minigame. This serves as a clue of him not being a real detective.
- Grand Theft Me: In the Golden Ending, Seleri Briar's body is permanently taken over by Estival.
- Greater-Scope Villain: Most of the story was a simulation by Seleri Briar, making the protagonist Seleri live out the events of "The Count Lovelle" novel. Also the goddess Estival, who created the playable Seleri and Dilion in the first place.
- Lotus-Eater Machine: Everyone is trapped in one, courtesy of Estival.
- Mood Whiplash: For the majority of the game, it's fairly lighthearted and cute (with a small bit of drama), but suddenly becomes extremely dark when Seleri and Dilion are forced to split, and even more with the introduction of Seleri Briar and Cornell.
- Multiple Endings:
- Normal Ending - Fate of a Copy: If Seleri is caught by the eyes, Dilion becomes a statue and she succumbs to the clone degeneration.
- Joke Ending - Hoggily Ever After: If Seleri uses the ram doll near the end of the game, Seleri (using a charro hat) summons a magic swine in order to escape the Lotus-Eater Machine with a confused Dilion.
- Ending A - Good Morning, Seleri: If Seleri met Estival, has Nolia's sword, and managed to pacify Seleri Briar, the latter regains her sense of self and tries to help Seleri, but she can't do anything to stop the clone degeneration. Dilion is forced to Mercy Kill her. Later, Seleri wakes up in the real world with a new body and no memory how she got there.
- Ending B - Inevitable Destiny: If Seleri met Estival, has Nolia's sword but failed to pacify Seleri Briar, the latter uses Nolia's sword to kill herself, realizing how little she meant to Cornell. Seleri succumbs to the clone degeneration and dies in Dilion's arms. When he wakes up in the real world, Estival has taken over Seleri Briar's body and convinces him that she's his Seleri.
- Ending C - That's an Order: If Seleri didn't met Estival, has Nolia's sword, but managed to pacify Seleri Briar, the latter falls into despair as she remembers what she did to Nolia and uses her powers to force Seleri into killing Dilion and then herself.
- Ending D - Don't Come Closer! - If Seleri failed to pacify Seleri Briar, she's killed by the latter in front of a despairing Dilion.
- Ending E - It Had To Be This Way, Right?: If Seleri met Estival, managed to pacify Seleri Briar, but doesn't have Nolia's sword, Briar is able to ascend and become one with the Great Tree. Dilion is forced to Mercy Kill Seleri before she can succumb to the clone degeneration.
- Ending F - What Should I Do Now?: Seleri didn't met Estival, doesn't have Nolia's word, but managed to pacify Seleri Briar. she is overloaded by memories and tries to attack Seleri. Dilion rushes to protect her, revealing his real form as a fragment of Zeres. Angrily, Seleri realizes his true nature and calls him out for lying to her, lamenting that her efforts to give him a normal life by severing their contract were for nothing. She then succumbs to the clone degeneration. Dilion goes back to the real world, where he's consoled by Bubbles.
- The Stinger: Unlockable in the Bonus Room after obtaining Ending A. It's revealed Dilion made a deal with Estival to transfer Seleri's soul into a human body. While she's sad that she lost her powers, she does reunite with Dilion.
- One-Steve Limit: There is Seleri Briar and her clone, the protagonist Seleri. Dilion resolves to call the former "Briar" to avoid confusion.
- Only Known by Their Nickname:
- Bubbles's true name is Annelise, but nobody calls her the way, sans her master.
- Dilion originally was a nameless spirit, naming himself after a character from "The Count Lovelle" novel just because Seleri liked it.
- The Pawn: The sad truth Seleri Briar couldn't accept is that she was nothing more than a pawn to be used and discarded by Cornell.
- Playable Epilogue: The Bonus Room, only unlockable after getting Ending A, features Seleri adapting to the real world after losing her powers and finally reuniting with Dilion.
- Protagonist Title: Seleri being the protagonist. It also applies to the original Seleri Briar.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: Played with; Dilion has red eyes under his mask and they're only shown as he's forced to Mercy Kill Seleri.
- The Svengali: Cornell recruited a teenage Seleri Briar, a rejected witch, gaining her loyalty in order to take over her seal and powers, since her own were sealed by Estival in the past.
- Tragic Villain: Seleri Briar is a Deconstruction of Undying Loyalty. She only found purpose in serving someone who didn't care about her at all.
- The Un-Reveal: The contents of the letter Seleri was planning to give Dilion. Some endings explain it contained a spell that would force Dilion not to be Seleri's familiar anymore, as she believed he'd die with her otherwise. The content is finally revealed in The Stinger.
- What Measure Is a Non-Human?: The witches have this mentality.
- While Seleri Briar is dismissive of her clones, it mostly happens because every time they die, she can feel their pain and memories.
- It's implied that the reason Suszainne is so dismissive of the protagonist Seleri is because she doesn't consider her real. In the Bonus Room, she also experiments on meat puppets to make Seleri's human body and shrugs off Estival's concerns to whatever Suszainne did to the failed clones.
- Cornell also had no qualms using the Seleri clones as guinea pigs for her experiments.
- You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: Seleri Briar was a victim of this. While Cornell only adopted her to regain her lost power, but after the former creates the "Platinum Flower" organization, she got rid of her in order to avoid all association with her.
