Dunkadillo is a Platform Game by Thomas K. Young (creator of the Dadish series) released on September 9, 2025 for Nintendo Switch, PC and mobile.
Dill the armadillo is hanging out with his best friend Pickle one day when the latter is suddenly kidnapped by a mysterious giant tentacle. Now Dill must go on an adventure through fifty dangerous levels while avoiding various enemies and fighting powerful bosses to save his friend. Oh, and did we mention that Dill can turn into a basketball?
As Dill, players must master the ability to bounce around in ball form, use it to dodge obstacles, and make it to the hoop at the end of each level. There are also a number of collectible cards hidden in stages, and by finding more of them, the player can unlock new characters to play as.
The game can be found on Steam here

Dunkadillo contains examples of:
- Attack the Tail: The scorpion boss' weak point is the stinger on the tip of his tail.
- Brutal Bird of Prey: The boss of World 3, Creagle, is an eagle that attacks the player character with eggs.
- Collection Sidequest: There are collectible cards featuring the game's characters and enemies to be found in many levels. The more you collect, the more different characters to play as you'll unlock.
- Defeat Means Friendship: The ending shows that Dill and Pickle appear to have become friends with the octopus Big Bad, as it shows the three of them hanging out together (although the octopus still looks beaten up from its fight with Dill).
- Double Jump: Dill (and the other playable characters) can jump in midair by coming out of his ball form. The player will use this mechanic a lot, since Dill is in ball form by default and is always bouncing while in it.
- Hair-Raising Hare: The boss of World 1, Hitter Critter, is a giant rabbit with red eyes who tries to squash the player character with its paw.
- Mix-and-Match Critters: Sharkybirds, as their name implies, are shark/bird hybrids.
- One-Hit-Point Wonder: Dill dies by coming into contact with any enemies or spikes, and since there are no checkpoints, that means having to do the level over from the beginning.
- Orange/Blue Contrast: The main protagonist is Dill the orange armadillo, while the main antagonist is a blue octopus.
- Rise to the Challenge: Level 49 (the last level before the Final Boss) takes place mostly in a large vertical shaft where the player has to move upwards quickly to run from a rising platform covered in spikes, while also dodging other enemies and obstacles.
- Rule of Three: Bosses have to be hit three times to be defeated.
- Scary Scorpions: The boss of World 4, Scorpysting, is a giant scorpion that attacks with its stinger (which is also its weak point).
- Snakes Are Sinister: The boss of World 2, Giant Client, is a giant snake.
- Tentacled Terror: The Big Bad and Final Boss is a giant octopus.
- Turns Red: The Final Boss literally turns red and its attack patterns become much more aggressive when it's down to its last hitpoint.
- Vibrant Orange: Dill is a cheerful armadillo with an orange shell (with black lines to mimic a basketball when he curls up) and yellow-orange skin.
