Trip tries to find out his strengths amongst the team.
Episode Tropes
- Be Yourself: Trip learns that he is valuable in the team by being The Smart Guy and uses that skill to create a new weapon to defeat the Monster of the Week.
- Bookends: At the beginning of the episode, Trip sees a group of kids playing Power Rangers and ignoring the Green Ranger outfit. At the end of the episode, the same group of kids dress up as the Green Ranger after he saved them from a Mutant attack.
- Epic Fail: Trip's attempts at copying his teammates are...less than successful.
- He tries working out to become as strong as Katie only to nearly crush himself under his own weights.
- He attempts to be like how Lucas is at romancing the ladies only to accidentally fumble it so hard he pushes a girl in the fountain by bad luck.
- He tries repeating the same combat styles of Jen only to hurt himself in a vain attempt at taking out the mutant rampaging.
- Psycho Electro: Our monster of the week, the appropriately named Electropede. An insectoid mutant with a never-ending apatite for electricity nearly zaps the Rangers to death and wipes out the city's power grid.
- True Companions: The ending solidifies the Rangers as this towards Trip as they all don green hair as a symbol of their appreciation towards him.
- You Are Better Than You Think You Are: The ending has all the Rangers comforting Trip by dressing as him to show their appreciation of their friend and how he is The Heart of their team.
