All spoilers for EVERYTHING will be left unmarked due to the true nature of certain works as well as due to our policy. You Have Been Warned!
This very article is directly inspired by both the crossing over of fiction and Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon, and is a list of various crossover links between various (mainly official) pieces of fiction. It is named after both Fortnite and Super Smash Bros., specifically the collaborations (plus the Zero Point itself) and Galeem's attack (from Ultimate's World of Light campaign) respectively. Both are now long considered two of the most ambitious crossovers in the history of media.
A Crossover that involves characters from more than two works of fiction. The classic crossover started itself off as a good way to make the best of what you've got — so if you have two shows on your roster, it's a no-brainer to have the shows and characters cross over every once in a while (especially if one of the shows is less popular than its sibling). Today there are many crossovers out there, increasingly common in video games (like those two), especially those involving both licensed and original properties. These games, depending on how far or how deep they mine, can have interesting effects on the fiction chosen.
Fiction! ... assemble.
- TV Tropes already has Crossovers.Fortnite page, so while there'll be references to that game's collaborations and cross-IP contents across this article, we won't be wasting your time trying to get into too much details here. However, certain themes stick out enough to be some more obvious crossovers...
- Chapter 5 Season 2: Myths and Mortals is themed after the Greek Mythology, with the implications of the said classical myth being somehow reinterpreted throughout media following the events of the entire season, effectively meaning Fortnite has truly crossed over with the Classical Mythology itself through Battle Royale.
- Due to being cross-themed seasons that are all (at least technically) canon with connected stories to match, both Marvel ones, the Star Wars one and the The Simpsons one are big swings in term of collabs, and thus serves as major crossings for Fortnite.
- Speaking of The Simpsons, it's the Chapter Finale, Zero Hour that's filled with The Cavalry of all kinds: Galactic Empire and the Resistance (off the Star Wars mini-season above), MonsterVerse!Godzilla and Monsterverse!King Kong, a giant Homer Simpsons (from The Simpsons as mentioned), Dino Megazord and a version of Tommy Oliver as the Green Ranger both almost straight out of the Grid, Hatsune Miku of Vocaloid, the HUNTR/X, Squid Games staff and co., a Superman, a bunch of Marvel charactersnote , the Invincible, Atom Eve, Allen the Alien, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Beatrice "The Bride" Kiddo, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Beavis and Butt-Head, Marty McFly in his DeLorean, UNSC Spartans, Tyler "Ninja" Blevins, Loserfruit, Lachlan Ross Power (and his PWR brand by proxy), The Grefg, Lazarbeam, Bugha, Chica, Ali-A, SypherPK, Flakes Power, Nicholas "NickEh30" Amyoony, Rubén Doblas "El Rubius" Gundersen, Clix, MrSavage, Octane drivers, Playboi Carti, A.I. Brainrot Animals and its representatives, Beans of all kinds, a gold lumberjack slime, a FOAD grenade and the Havoc Hotel staff (the latter three represents creators' content in Fortnite). The omniverse is real!

- Yakuman DSnote
- Zangeki no Reginleiv
- Ryu, Guile, Solid Snake, a Vault Boy In-Universe merch (specifically a bobblehead) and various Sonic-themed cosmetics arrived to Fortnite, directly connecting it with Smash proper.
- Samus also counts but by only technicality, due to Nintendo being uncomfortable with cross-platform appearances of their characters, leading to Epic Games forced to scrap her.
- Marvel vs. Capcom: Crossing over with the entirety of Marvel as a whole.
- Why not just the certain Marvel media? In actuality, Marvel's expanded multiverse is actually so massive, featuring the comics' worlds like Earth-616 and Earth-1610, Earth-6160 and even the entire MCU designated as Earth-199999! And yes, this includes other Marvel-verses and Fortnite. Spider-Man of MvC is designated to be of Earth-30847 and caught up in comics' Spider-Verse seals the deal.
- SNK vs. Capcom: Crossing over with The King of Fighters. And given that SNK has its own multiverse...
- Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Crossing over with Science Ninja Team Gatchaman, Neo-Human Casshern, Tekkaman, Yatterman (from Time Bokan series), Hurricane Polymar, Golden Warrior Gold Lightan and Hakushon Daimaō, all from Tatsunoko Production.
- Namco × Capcom and Project × Zone games, crossing over with (Bandai) Namco, Sega and Nintendo.
- PXZ1 actually also crossed with Super Robot Wars (Banpresto) through Endless Frontier, and with that, tying in EVERY SINGLE robot shows and media that appeared anywhere in SRW.
- Street Fighter X Tekken and Tekken X Street Fighter: Crossover of Street Fighter and Tekken, with some guests from inFAMOUS and Doko Demo Issho from Sony PlayStation.
- Taisen Net Gimmick: Capcom vs. Psikyo All Stars: Mahjong crossover with Psikyo.
- Sonic the Hedgehog/Mega Man: Worlds Collide and Worlds Unite: Crossover with Sega, starring Sonic the Hedgehog and Mega Man on Archie Comics.
- Capcom vs. Osamu Tezuka Characters: art exhibition crossing with the late mangaka's series.
- Cross Edge: Crossover of Darkstalkers, Disgaea (which has both Nippon Ichi and own multiverse), Ar tonelico: Melody of Elemia (EXA_PICO), Atelier Series and Spectral Souls (Spectral Force).
- And of course, Super Smash Bros. itself.
And due to Capcom's crossover-happy trigger finger also extending to their own series (given all the crossovers, both within and outwards above), therefore this connects all of the following games (even if not all of them have been in any crossovers):
- 1942 series
- Ace Attorney series
- Armored Warriors

- Speaking of he who has a gun for his neutral, both the Arena games, which takes place in the 3-4-5 continuity, have been brought into a phenomenon known in the form of BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle:
- BlazBlue
- Under Night In-Birth
- Web Animation/RWBY (which crossed over with Creator/DC Comics)
- Akatsuki Blitzkampf (which crossed over Under Night In-Birth alongside Melty Blood of Tsukihime)
- Arcana Heart and Senran Kagura, both of which crossed over... Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel...
- ...and now we drop into nitro+, as its heroines and villainesses are brought into Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel. Not just Heart Aino and some busty kunoichi, this thing also have our good ol' Artoria "Saber" Pendragon. More Type-Moon, so more Grand Order. Hmmm...
- "Another Story" performs Demonbane lore. Demonbane is in Super Robot Wars. Either an infinitely-colossal or an infinite copies of Demonbane is fair game... Loopers... "D" is watching you.
