Silver Surfer is a multi-media franchise created by Marvel Comics.
The franchise follows the titular Silver Surfer, Norrin Radd, who was once a normal man on the planet of Zenn-La. When Galactus came to consume his world, Norrin agreed to become the world eater's herald and find worlds for him to eat in exchange for his being spared. For years, the Silver Surfer helped Galactus devour worlds, until he came to Earth and turned against his master to prevent its destruction. Now, the Silver Surfer travels the universe and helps out where he can.
