Daredevil is a superhero appearing in various Marvel Comics media. When he was a boy, Matthew Murdock saved an old man from being hit by a truck containing toxic chemicals and was blinded by those chemicals as a result. In exchange for his sight, he gained Super-Senses and was taught how to fight by a blind sensei named Stick. As an adult, he became a lawyer and works with his best friend, Foggy Nelson, during the day, while at night fighting criminals, evil ninjas, and Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin of Crime.
