Myosotis
You've died at the hands of your (now ex) boyfriend, Ethan. Filled with a mix of sorrow, confusion, and rage, you decide to spend your afterlife haunting him in the hope of getting an answer from your murderer. However, you're only given more questions as you realize you're not the only ghost following him around...

As a side note, there is a slight romance with one of the characters. However, it is not the main focus of the story. (The romance is not with the corpse kissing character)

accidentally posted my review in the wrong place (lol) but i DEFINITELY recommend this game!! the art was phenomenal, the darker part of it is incredibly intriguing, and the writing is so so so detailed! i love how this doesn't focus on romance as its sole purpose and has a minimal amount of it. you can tell the creator spent a lot of time on this & i've really never seen an idea like this :-) the editing style in the scarier parts reminds me of the game 'parasite in love', only this game is less unsettling ^^
the justice ending was cute, like at the end but finding Ethan's body gave me the shivers. but other than that, I like the justice ending more then the revenge ending

This game was truly a masterclass in mood and atmosphere, the writing, the art, the sound, and those phenomenal tooltips coming together hand in hand to make a truly elite story of justice and revenge.
Gosh, it's just so beautiful inside and out, the way you add that little hint at the end in the "not quite intended" ending that is further confirmed in the "likely optimal" ending, the themes that you know I just can't get enough of, the sense of dramatic timing... I just can't get over it, the music was so good I felt like I was playing one of the classic murder mystery VNs, and I'm not talking Danganronpa, we're going HIGHER than that.
Goodness gracious, may inspiration and a team like this find me one day because each and every one of you absolutely killed it!

What happened to mc's body? Was it found? We saw Ethan's funeral, but is mc still missing?
Why did Jude kiss mc's corpse? The game clearly tells us that he doesn't care about us, he ignores mc all the time, brushing off any attempts to talk and this little detail really makes me wonder why he did that... Just because he's a psycho? (If I remember correctly, he laughs when he gets caught by the police)
What was Jude scared of? As I understand, the mysterious figure was mc's friend and Jude was actually scared of him because that friend started to stalk him, am I right?
And one last not very important thing, it's not only about this game but why revenge always means bad ending...

I have a theory on what might be the reason Jude changed all of the sudden and decided to kill MC. At the start of the game we were 'snooping' around in the morgue; looking through old files, etc. and then not long after Jude suddenly came in and questioned what we were doing and looked at the old files in our hand, then he got scared like maybe we found something. Possibly referring to how later in the game in that same morgue we found the bag of ID's, leading to Jude not being Ethan and Doe being the real Ethan. Jude obviously couldn't ask straight up if MC found the bag so instead of asking maybe he killed her to be safe?
( Also sorry if I didn't get some details right, I don't have the best memory. )
I thought of the same thing and I think Avery was the one who sneaked in his room to find anything that leads to the MC

chorei com o final justice, quando o ethan disse que gostaria de ter chamado o mc para sair, e que ele escreveu até uma carta.
isso me fez pensar, se a carta chegou até o mc, e o jude sabia e foi se encontrar com o mc no lugar do ethan.
queria saber o motivo dele ter matado o ethan, no entanto. foi premeditado? ou algo que o jude não esperava que ocorresse? acredito que a morte do mc foi pelo jude achar no começo do jogo que o mc descobriu algo sobre o ethan verdadeiro.
enfim, ao mesmo tempo que amei o final justice, ainda fiquei triste pelas circunstâncias que o ethan e o mc se encontraram. se o jude não existisse, acredito que eles teriam sido muito felizes juntos. espero que ambos possam ficar em paz agora.
I really love this game, tbh, it did make me curious about what is going on, and the plot are intrigued and creative too. Being a ghost, curious and angry why I have been dead out of nothing, and by the hand of who I love and trust, it really make the plot stand out. But there are still many things that make me feel a bit miss, the answers that haven't been said

For example, what is Jude's intention by killing MC and Ethan? Why not anyone else but them? What is the relationship between MC and Ethan before they died? Why is MC's body not be found by the police? What did Jude actually scared of when he looked pass MC and Ethan? Why did Ethan try to do all these things when he seemed really tired of this like he's forced to? All of sudden, why did Jude change suddenly? Like yeah he did kill Ethan, but like the MC said, Jude at that time just change out of no where, like he didn't have the intention to kill MC at first
All of this question really make me stuck, especially Jude's true intention. I still love the story, but I just hope I can find the answers for all of this question, it will make the story more profound. Hope there will be another part for this game to answer all the mystery. Love it!!!

I think I know some of the answers (or some good theories), like the reason that Ethan was killed was because Jude was jealous (the phantasma at the park alludes to Jude taking him to the woods and killing him there (I used that phantasma to figure out the Justice ending)) and a good theory for why the MC was killed was because they were looking around the morgue and Jude thought that MC had found his papers and got skittish about it. I also don't know why MC's death or body wasn't mentioned, I was really hoping that would show up, I also wanted justice (especially because Avery, the cloaked figure (described in a phantasma as "Evil Sneaky Guy") , mentioned that the MC was out there as in missing and not dead). I think the overall tiredness would be from the stress (and related disordered sleeping) getting to him, because another phantasma (I don't remember where it appears) mentions MC noticing marks on Jude's hands when they met (that's actually mentioned 2-3 times, the one I was initially referring to was the last time as it ties it to Ethan's death) which would mean he was holding that in for at least a month (for as long as MC and Jude were dating) and with how Ethan's grave was rushed this was probably some heat of the moment murder like with MC's.

i think all you need to do is find ethans body in the woods by picking go right-go forward-go right then the option to justice ending unlocks. at least thats what i did and got the ending lol
I loved this game!
This game carries a tinge of sorrow, yet I really love it--it's an amazing work. The final scene is so beautiful. This game has also given me some thoughts on existence and death. I don't think it's just a game about love and mystery, it also carriers certain philosophical significance.
This story really brought me to tears T^T beautiful. I got the Justice ending first and it's definitely my favorite <3
