I’ve been playing Dark Souls again, and it put me in the mood to draw some armor. Here’s the Knight class armor set from DS3.

Armor is a little confusing with all the layering, odd angles, and wings meant to catch or deflect strikes. I’d like to do an in-depth study of how various armor types and styles are constructed and the reasoning behind all of it. Might do that next!

I made this with Pixaki 4 on iPad which is fantastic. I maxed out the resolution to try to get an ink sort of style, and tried not to zoom while drawing to make it more like working in a sketchbook. The noise was added later in Procreate.
