hi blog readers!!! i'm firey, they asked me too rite this blog. they asked me cuz this is a speedrun cuality of life patch and i run the fastest. i like runing, it's won of the most fun things you can do in branches! so yeah, listen up and lurn from the master.

this is the part of the blog they told me too tell you about new feetures. under the timer you have an opshun too turn on the attemt counter. this lets you know how many times you failed, lol. you also have an opshun of timer splits. when you find won of the awsome checkpoints, it tells you how fast you got their. it even tells you yro'ue time in each level of speedrun mode so you know eczactly how fast you are. befour you know it you can cook just like me, bone apple tea!

so yeah, enjoy the cool new feetures that will make you fast like me. maybe i rited so good they let me rite again! lol.

Patch Notes

Features:

• Attempts (Listed under “Visuals”)
  • This option adds some text underneath the timer, and tells you how many times you have tried a level!
  • This number saves between levels, and also between sessions, so you will always know how many times you have failed that first roll in Laying Down the Roots. (Seriously, why is that timing so hard?)
• Timer Splits (Available under “Visuals”)
  • This setting turns on a display underneath the timer (or attempts counter) that, if playing levels regularly, will showcase how many checkpoints you have ripped through, and how fast you did that!
  • But, if you’re in Speedrun Mode, you get a Livesplit-like split display, showcasing the times you have gotten on each level, and also a comparison between that time and your current PB!
• General Speedrun Updates
  • We also have some small, but notable goodies for you speedrunners.
  • Quick Run Reset: Restart a full run by holding Alt and using your restart bind.
  • Tutorial Character Saving: Ever fail a run early on after the Tutorial, and find it annoying to realize you never switched back to Firey, making you have to go all the way to the story menu, or a custom level, and switch back? Those days are long over! Whenever you restart a run, your character will automatically be set back to whomever you started with!
  • Made the default timer format minutes, so instead of 60.00, it will now show 1:00.00.
• Routines “Expand” toggle
  • In the “Routines” tab of the editor, you can now choose to expand the menu size to be able to view more routines at once! This allows for easier searching, or you can just flex how many routines you were able to fit into your level.
• Legal Popup
  • You may notice that you won’t be able to access online features, but don’t fret! This is simply because you have to agree to our brand-new, shiny Terms of Service and Privacy Policy! Make sure to read it over, as it covers a few very important topics. To accept these, just click one of the greyed out menu options, and a popup should appear.
