Incomplete Edition (Mac, 1.02 GB)
Incomplete Edition (Linux, 904 MB)
This collection was made with Electron and Eleventy.
It uses dxwrapper to (hopefully) resolve graphical issues when running my GameMaker 5 games on modern computers.
It uses Debugger Helper to (hopefully) resolve slowdown issues when running my GameMaker Studio 1.4 games on modern computers.
Thanks to John Thyer, Jake Eakle, and Kate Bagenzo for early testing.
Sylvie RPG: 7 Elf Apocalypse (Volume 5) is often recommended by others as a good starting point. It's a top-down action RPG with lots of secrets and surprises and I think it is one of my best games.
Her Little Sylvietower (Volume 5) is a challenging platformer, but it has a rewind feature that makes it less difficult than a lot of my other platformers, and I think it's very cute and contains a lot of classic Sylvie elements.
You are such a Soft and Round Kitten (Volume 4) is a chaotic kitten game that's only around 10-20 minutes long. I think it gives a good sense of my aesthetic sensibilities.
Cat Planet (Volume 2) is a bouncy exploration platformer where you encounter silly cats, and it was one of my most popular games for a long time. It's a little more simplistic than my modern games but I think it's still fun and cute.
Sylvie Lime (Volume 5) is my personal favourite game in the collection. It's an exploration platformer with strange mechanics and a cute story. It might be a little too abrasive as a starting point, but I definitely recommend playing it once you are used to my approach to designing video games.
Clockwork Calamity in Mushroom World (Volume 4) is a large open-world exploration platformer. It is probably the biggest game in the collection and it's full of surprises and cuteness.
Funeral Song for the Elemental Lords (Volume 5) is another large exploration platformer that's somewhat complex and mysterious.
JIGGLY ZONE (Volume 3) is a lengthy precision platformer with unusual level design and silly dialogue.
Pupy World (Volume 3) is an exploration platformer with lots of cute characters. It requires minimal action skill and is mostly about solving silly fetch quests.
Cute Witchy House: Floor One (Volume 3) is a top-down exploration game that had an interesting development process. It's full of strange and cute things to find. There are a few sequences requiring some action skill, but there's lots to explore even if you don't engage with those parts.
Kitty (Volume 3) is a cute 5-minute experience featuring a kitty.
Cutey Berry (Volume 4) is a platformer with some tricky parts, but it's overall easier than most of my other works.
Dooba's Adventure (Volume 1) is not my first game, but it's the oldest one I still have a copy of. It's pretty awkward to play, especially if you don't have a mouse, but it's cute.
Escape from BUNGELING Building (Volume 1) continues the tragically short-lived Dooba series with a combination action-puzzle game inspired by Chip's Challenge (but with way fewer levels).
Slime Attack (Volume 1) is one of those games where you fight waves of enemies and buy upgrades from a store between stages. While it's very unbalanced, it's probably the game in Volume 1 that I enjoy playing the most.
Secret Cavern (Volume 2) was my first ever Ludum Dare entry. It's an exploration platformer that I think is very cute, and it exemplifies my early design philosophy of playing with elements of games that I saw others look down on (in this case, unmarked secret passges you have to find through trial and error).
Her Little Sylvietower (Volume 5) as mentioned above, but try clearing it without rewind.
Snake Memory (Volume 5) might not seem like a precision platformer at first, but there are optional challenges in the game that strongly lean into that style of gameplay.
Late Night Platforming (Volume 3) is a quick little 3-stage game. The third stage is pretty tricky.
Cat Factory (Volume 2) is a precision platformer with a single stage that is rather long and difficult.
Cute Jump (Volume 2) is the most difficult game in the collection, not only because of the platforming, but because at times it is intentionally unfair and tedious. It's sort of an experimental game that can probably only be appreciated by people who have spent a lot of time playing precision platformers and don't mind deliberately abrasive design. It's one of the games that is most important to me.
Soft Kitten Experience (Volume 5) is sort of a spiritual sequel to Cute Jump. It leans less into unfairness and more into technical difficulty and hidden mechanics, although there are still some annoying parts.
Lady of the Flames (Volume 4) is a single-screen game with three endings, one of which is absurdly difficult to reach.
Girl Adventure (Volume 4) is much easier than the three games above due to the presence of a rewind feature, but has unusual mechanics you might find interesting.
Sorry, there is nothing for you here.
Castle Bubble (Volume 4) has a difficulty curve that I find extremely funny.
Puzzle Ecstasy (Volume 5) has an interesting blend of puzzle and action elements.
Sylvie SweetHeart! (Volume 5) is short but it's a demon game from hell.
Warpmaze (Volume 2) is about escaping from a teleporter maze.
Cactus Block (Volume 2) is the one that started it all. A gambling platformer where you click the mouse to create either a deadly cactus or a helpful block, but you don't know which one! The original version was made in a few hours and is very simplistic, yet it still made waves in the indie game sphere.
Cactus Block 2013 (Volume 2) is a remake of Cactus Block with updated graphics and fun alternate modes.
Cactus Flower (Volume 3) is an alternate take where instead of blocks, you place flowers that you can consume to get powerups. It also has no checkpoints, making it rather tense.
Cactus block on adventure! (Volume 5) is a six-stage arcade-style Cactus Block game. It has the most complex and sophisticated mechanics of any entry in the series.
Untitled Tower Game (Volume 2) is a fun arcade platformer with an interesting control scheme.
Sparkly Rainbow Kitty Fluff Adventure (Volume 3) is a cute exploration platformer about discovering hidden passages, dedicated to my kitty Chuchino who passed away.
Rats World (Volume 3) is a silly top-down exploration game with very obtuse mechanics and design.
Silvey's Key (Volume 3) is a puzzle-and-secrets game loosely inspired by Solomon's Key. The secrets go pretty deep and it's one of my favourites.
KittySylvie in HolidLand (Volume 4) is a short exploration platformer with some tricky bosses.
Stargirl (Volume 4) is a pretty cool top-down action game.
Kitten Connection (Volume 4) is an exploration platformer with interesting mechanics.
Hot Summer Sylvie (Volume 5) is a silly platformer that I really like.
CommitArsonNow (Volume 5) is an unusual and fun action game about a kitten who burns down the forest.
Unique Sylvie Game (Volume 5) is a platformer rage game with sylvie schmoovement.
The Unforgettable Gem Hunt! (Volume 5) is a cute top-down dodging game.
Sylvie Miniature (Volume 5) is a tiny exploration game that often gets hits from people looking for "Metroidbrainias".
