This guide will show the dialogue choices that impact characters and go over ways to get the base best endings and have none of the gods fight each other. I will also go over key turning points in the routes. It is possible to get a save where you can get three of the best endings from reloading the last save point.
Reminder, there are a ton of combinations that can lead to endings, and every ending has many combinations of positive and negative. This guide shows the best base endings and none of the gods fighting, but I can’t guarantee that each aspect of the ending is the absolute best it can be.
Turning points
- Having Amar help Althea in the lab or having the twins help Althea in the lab. Have whoever’s route you wanna go on help in the lab.
- I have not found a way to have a save where you can get the twins’ and Amar’s best ending, it’s either or.
- To get the best ending for I believe everyone, you have to make Lutra mad several times by making him not eat things. You have to make sure he doesn’t eat Amar’s flower, you have to have Amar go talk to him, you have to make him stop eating the kelp and remember what Amar said, and you have to make Amar distract Lutra as you go to Althea for help. Not doing so will drastically alter the game, and this will lead to most of the bad endings.
- Having Amar and the twins fix their friendship is vital to the best endings.
- Fixing Amar and the twin’s friendship BEFORE the twins visit Lutra changes what happens and gives an illustration. Visiting Lutra before fixing the friendship has a different scene and two new illustrations. You can get the best ending with both options, but fixing the friendship before visiting Lutra is overtly the better choice.
- Having Amar and the twins play in the kelp forest or the reef drastically impacts things. The reef is the better choice.
- You should talk to everyone in the Breach and get them to come back to the middle of the Breach. You should also have Gnosis bring everyone back. I didn’t test to see if you can get good endings without it, but unless you want Althea’s bad ending, it’s just mean to not get them back from the Breach.
The Crown
The game lets you turn book pages into a crown that you can give a god to try to influence them being the creator. The crown has three levels. Following my guide, you can get the second highest crown and use it. This is how you can get a save file where you can get three of the best endings at once by reloading the game and giving the crown to the characters. Giving Amar a crown when you follow my guide where the twins help in the lab is not enough to make him the creator. The same is true vice versa for the twins.
Guide
The Beginning
Where you go first doesn’t matter really.
Amar:
Amar is going to start off by having you take a quiz. How you answer changes future questions, so here are the answers that cause positive reactions.
- Sure, let’s do it > Got it, I’m ready
- Being with friends and eating food
- Back floating in the sun
- I get lonely easily
- Writing research papers
- Doesn’t matter, as long as I get to be with friends and family
Esti + Ketri:
When you visit, they will put out a force field and you have to convince them to let you talk to them.
- I don’t know who I am
- I’m not from this place either
- I like it. It’s a nice place
Lutra:
Lutra starts off scared, and you need to make them comfy because they’re a good baby. These dialogue options cause positive reactions. They also all cause the shock reaction, but it didn’t make a difference when I played.
- Maybe this isn’t something you should try alone
- Well, not as many out there as there are in here, I guess
- Maybe there’s other Worlds out there
- What about strength in numbers?
- It’s true, endings do happen no matter what
- If traveling is too difficult alone, maybe you just need some friends to help you
Amar and the Twin’s Friendship
Decide if you want to have the twins visit Lutra before or after making up with Amar. The best ends are still achievable regardless, but you get different illustrations. Fixing the friendship before is the more positive version.
- To fix the friendship, talk to the twins and tell them “maybe you could ask Amar not to do that again.”
- If you ask them about them living in the reef and they ask about you, tell them “I’m not keeping any secrets.”
- Talk to Amar and he’ll probably give you a seed for Lutra.
- Talk to Amar about the twins and convince him to go see them.
- Talk to the twins and they’ll tell you Amar hasn’t come. If you say he said he would, they’ll get upset and then you say “That’s not necessarily true.” Or just say you asked them for no reason.
- Go back to Amar and get him to visit the twins. When you get to choose where they should play, say “I think you should go see them in the coral reef.” You will also make Amar happy by picking this choice.
- Talk to the twins about Amar and they will say how much fun they had. Amar will also say he had fun.
Lutra’s Hunger
- Go talk to Lutra and tell them you have a plant. They will freak out and start eating it all. This is a turning point. For the good endings, you need to make Lutra mad. Tell them “I know it’s hard, but if you save some for the future”
- Lutra will stop wanting to talk, so go to Amar and talk about Lutra. He’ll suggest that he can go talk to Lutra, so pick “Yeah, that’s worth a shot.”
- Go back to Lutra and they’ll explain how Amar gave them a lot of information, and Lutra wants the future where he has food in the future. Tell him “I think the furry one did a good job.”
- Talk to Amar. By this point, he should show you Althea’s lab. Go to her lab and talk to her. Althea’s best options are usually pandering to her intelligence. You will get positive responses for the following.
- This place is totally unique
- Glowing sheet > but there isn’t much sunlight >that’s amazing
- Telescope > but how do you see > sounds mysterious
- How did you build this place > how does fabricator work > incredible
- Big pod
- Go to Lutra and talk to him about the scary lady in the cave. I usually tell him that Althea just wants to do some experiments in the cave and that I am unsure if she can be trusted. The option that matters is having Lutra “tell device using one” and then “I’ll go over first.”
- Althea will have a moment of realization and feel bad about it. Talk to her and Lutra and both will be thankful for the encounter.
- Visit Althea again. She’ll talk about the situation, so say “that’s all right, I’m glad you understand.” There’s a long chain of dialogue to get a positive reaction from the lab results. “Examined samples from moss cavern > yes > makes sense> wow > yes > that’s exciting”
- Go back to Amar and the scene is tense. He asks if you saw what Lutra did. I always said no. He explains that Lutra came and is eating the forest up, so pick “All right, I’ll see if Lutra wants to talk.”
- Talk to Lutra in the kelp forest and say everything possible to get him to not eat the plants. “You need to stop (Lutra will get mad, but that’s okay)> All right, I see.> Other creatures need the plants too > But others are important”
- Go back to Amar and tell him what happened. Make sure to pick “Talk to lutra while I’m gone.”
- Go to Althea and talk about the issue. She will say it will take a while. If you’re on the good path, you can only say that you think Lutra understands they can’t eat it all. Make sure to pick “Thanks so much, Alethea.”
- Go back to Amar and he says that the forest is almost totally fine. You’ll get positive points for Amar.
Lab Work
Who you pick to help Althea will decide if you can get the twin’s best ending or Amar’s in the final save. I haven’t been able to make a save where you can get both Amar and the twin’s best endings in one go.
The Twins
- Ask the twins if they’ll help Althea. They aren’t super excited, but they’ll go.
- If you have done a lot of positive events with them prior to this, they will help in the lab effectively.
- Talk to Althea about how they did. You will get positive Althea points.
- Go back to the twins and talk to them about the experience. They’ll tell you about seeing Althea do something scary.
Amar
- Ask Amar if he’ll help Althea. He isn’t excited, but talk about how fun it could be.
- I never got Amar to do badly in the lab. I assume it’s possible though.
- Talk to Althea about how he did. You will get positive Althea points.
- Go back to Amar and talk to him about the experience. He’ll tell you about seeing Althea do something scary.
The Breach
- Talk to Althea. She will talk about how she needs a powerful energy source and that she can make your teleporter bring you to the source. Agree and say “sounds good, I’m in.”
- Go to the unidentified area and talk to Gnosis.
- Teleport anywhere and you’ll end up in the Breach.
- Make sure to talk to every animal and bring everyone back to the middle of the Breach. Do not leave before doing this. You cannot come back.
- Leave and tell Althea what happened. Accuse her of nothing and don’t let her know Amar/the twins told you that she teleported an animal.
- Tell her that there must be some way to help and generally be positive.
- Talk to Gnosis and he’ll say he can open a portal if you have 4 pages.
- Tell Althea what Gnosis said. Agree with her that it’s your only option.
- Go to Gnosis and bring him the pages. When he asks, tell him “You’re doing it for both of them.”
- Go back to Althea and she’ll tell you how all the animals are back.
The Crystal
- Go to Lutra and they’ll be in a cocoon. Be nice to them and comforting because they are huggable. Lutra will go over different positive things you have done, and you will get positive Lutra points.
- Lutra will mention that the twins have a crystal that makes them sad. Ask Lutra for details on it.
- Go to the twins and they will tell you their Crystal is broken. Agree to take a look at the crystal.
- Go to Althea and ask her about fixing it. If the twins helped in her lab, she will help without much effort. If it was Amar, you have to convince her.
- Make sure to not accuse her of not caring about the twins. Keep picking dialogue options until you get the choice to mention how the crystal will lead her to new research.
- Go back to the twins and ask why they need the crystal fixed so badly.
- Go to Althea and ask about the crystal. She will say she figured out what the crystal does and that it is probably harming the twins. Tell her that you should still fix it and insist on it.
- Bring the crystal to the twins. The twins will talk about the crystal, so pick “how could they > parent’s choice > I don’t think” and you now have the crystal permanently.
Finishing Up
- Go to Amar and he should have the choice to talk about the twins. He is worried that they aren’t having much fun. Both options have different illustrations and don’t seem to impact the end much, so pick “Why not tell a story” or “What if you played a game first.”
- Talk to the twins about Amar and see their reactions to being told a story/playing a game.
- Talk to Althea. She will be lost in thought. Console her and say “I don’t think it was a waste > I wish I knew how to advise you > I can only imagine how that feels.”
- Talk to Amar. He is also in deep thought. The goal is to console him as well, so say “I think it was worth the effort > You definitely helped > It’s up to you.”
- Talk to Gnosis but don’t give him any more pages and just leave.
- Talk to Elil if you never have and just exhaust all dialogue options to get an illustration.
- Make a level two crown.
The End
You now have a save where you can get 3/4 good endings. Give crowns to all of the gods minus whoever didn’t go to the lab (so Amar or the twins). You can try giving it to them, but I never got it to give enough points to counteract one of the other gods.
What About Gnosis?
Go talk to Gnosis and give him all the pages if you want his bad ending. Note, once you do this, you can’t go back. The game will have saved you giving him all the pages, so your save file is now the Gnosis save file.
