13 Bones - Update 3 is live !


New Damage System

The damage system used for the jam was explosive, but unpredictable and hard to balance. Now, the damage the actual damage does not depend on the hand value. It should feel as explosive, but more controllable, allowing more interesting builds.

A new map, with branching paths. image.png

This includes:

  • 3 new enemies
  • a revamp of most enemy passives
  • a new deck modification
  • some new card mechanics

Visual polish

Some work went into the visuals (icons, animations, tooltips). This still requires some work.

Next step

With this new system, we can focus on adding new cards and and enemies. The goal is to see if we can have a full game before February, let’s see !
