Being a night owl, you naturally have trouble sleeping. Sleep is important for the average person, but you're a university student who loves to do their homework from 12AM onwards. Luckily, you have a friend that's literally a call away!
Why're you taking calculus? I don't know, calculus is pretty hard. But it's okay, just ask him to help you. He's been your friend for a while after all!! He sounds rude, but don't worry that's just cause he's sleepy<3
Just be sure to try and communicate properly with each other, okay? I would hate for you guys to argue.
As some of you may have noticed, this is indeed the update for Wake Me Up If You Need Me! A semi-total rehaul of the game, aka the game if I was given more time to do the things I kind of wanted to do (especially visually).
I still have the old version up if ever you'd like to see what it was like back in the trenches<3

Dare I say, I did sit through Reed's calculus lecture at 5 in the morning & enjoy it. God this is so adorable. I was an idiot for letting this sit in my list for long. Love this so much <3

I did NOT expect the game to play out the way it did... but I'm glad it did! I absolutely adore Reed, he's adorable!! Highkey would love a boyfriend like him irl. This game means so much to me already. Kudos to you and Reed's VA <3
p.s. I love the detail/easter egg of Reed's VA singing "Call Me Maybe" when you stay on the main menu for too long.

Night 3 stresses me out so bad like.... that argument made me rushing to the good end, like i fr dont want to piss him off and i thought dang?? did i really just went for a bad end so fast?? (usually i went for bad end first but i got anxious lmao)
yknow again the discourse in night 3, i was heavily on reed side cause damn, everything he said was true?? like what am i (the player) even on? his intentions wasnt like that (i can be his lawyer) not only we bothered him, asking him to help, and leaving him to sleep? yeah, reed had too much patience.
I kinda get what mc meant but dont at the same time? like holy shit? how did i pull a nerd, kind, baddie like reed to tolerate me like that? lmao, plus they also had arguments back then, makes me think like how did i pull off damn.
i never really had a mc thats problematic bluntly like that? its new for me, that just makes how good rice's writing is. like you toned it DOWN?? we could have been much worse?? crazy.
i cant see reed being problematic... he's just a serious truthful guy and maybe curse sometimes TT)

When I wrote WMUIYNM, I did want to make both Reed and MC problematic in their own little ways.
Reed keeps up the tough exterior because he’s scared of letting people in just as much as he’s scared of losing them. He also thinks he is the more “sensible” one, and he’s uptight by nurture. He guards his feelings closely out of fear, which can lead to negative consequences.
MC pushes themselves too much. Not to say Reed doesn’t, but MC definitely does think that Reed is effortlessly successful in his academics. So when Reed does MC’s homework for them, instead of giving assistance, MC takes it as him making a statement, or a point rather, that they are the “dumb” one. That they could never do anything by themselves. That they never put in any effort, so he had to do it for them. Because of this MC lashes out, and Reed lashes out too.
It’s a bit like when you complain about being stuck in traffic and you rant about it to somebody, but then they say “I told you you should’ve gone earlier,” instead of “Traffic is horrible I totally get you,” it does come off to some people as them saying “I’m smarter and more capable than you.” In that case, the person stuck in traffic would be MC, and the person being ranted to would be Reed !!
Also I wrote Reed to be a dude. Just a guy. A chill guy. A normal bro.

1. the voice actor is amazing, wonderful job
2. nooo not you making me do math aaaa
3. "bad with words" during an amazing confession scene
4. i did the bad end second so i was goofing and smiling, joking about how his hair thingy moved, and was immediately struck silent by him crying like literally i smacked my hand over my mouth and kept it there for a solid minute or two
