My submission for the Music Imitation Style Imitation Jam, enjoy!

This would be a battle theme from the Red/Blue era.
I started with no knowledge of the Pokemon themes, so I mostly tried to follow the limitations of the Gameboy hardware of 3 mono tracks and not using a noise track since that wouldn't be used in a battle theme. I'm not sure I was able to absorb the Pokémon leitmotifs or specific compositional patterns in such little time, so the themes might be off. Tried my best and had lots of fun. Now I know a ton more and have great newfound respect for Pokémon music after going through this rabbit hole.

Tools used: Reaper using the Soraboy VST for all sounds.
