Indiepocalypse #71
A downloadable game for Windows
ISSUE #71
Cover - harper
Hello and welcome to Indiepocalypse!
Indiepocalypse is a curated monthly collection looking to highlight the very best of the alternative indie game scene.
Each month features games by 10 different developers, including a newly commissioned game exclusive to the bundle-zine. The games cover a wide variety of styles, genres, and themes as they fight against any definition of "indie game" as a genre.
Also, and this part is very important to me and should truly be taken as given, each contributor is paid and developers are paid royalties on all future sales.
This Month's Games
The Slop Machine. (WIN/Browser) by Hudson Baird

Have you ever wanted to create art yet you are someone entirely lacking in talent and any artistic drive? We have created the machine of your dreams!
In this "game" you can make "art" with your "friend". Perfect art. You can look at it, enjoy it, and then stop looking at it. Many cool features for only our best customers.
So just hit the button and have fun.
And don't think too hard about it.
Fragment (WIN) by Snail's Pace

Fragment is a single character RPG made in RPG Maker 2003 with a simple pixel art style. Play as the Little Guy, a simple creature who seems to have been abandoned by it's mysterious creator. Seek her out to save your world!
We Could Just Be Annoying (WIN/MACX/Linux) by BibiXP

Harper and Cherry are obsessed with their idol Harmonious Witch. And that means getting Harmonious Witch to actually notice the two of them, and what better way than some demo tapes of some music of theirs? It's perfect, now the two of them just need to ignore the kinda weird stuff like abandoned objects and possibly not so great magic following their idol, just like fans should!
Though, that might be hard to do without something to distract them, good thing they have their demo tapes to listen to while they try, and fail, to ignore what's been going on around them.
Amphigeum (WIN/Linux) by Nelson, Sol

A slow and sluggish adventure game, where you must kill the Amphisbaena.
Vacation Terminal (WIN/MAC/Linux/Browser) by Gelppy

Vacation Terminal is a short 2D Psychological thriller, horror and survival based visual novel with evading based puzzle elements. Following the story of two strangers, Gavriil and Yeva, who suddenly find themselves stranded in the snowy wilderness after a brutal train crash.
Super Raft Boat Classic (WIN/MAC) by Shattered Journal Games

The world's been flooded, and all you have is your Super Raft Boat. Can you reach The Final Island?
一顆蘋果aN APpLe (WIN) by Jiahe

A collage-like interactive storybook about a girl who unexpectedly becomes a magical girl—to save the collapsing world, or maybe just to understand it. A tale of love, loss, bravery… and APpLeS.
NOTICE (WIN) by Jake Berry

A game about presence. Notice familiar things and how they make you feel.
Goodbye, Muffin (WIN/MAC/Linux/Browser) by durian

A game about my dog Finn. It's a way for me to process grief, remember his life, and how much he took care of us.
*NEWLY COMMISSIONED FOR INDIEPOCALYPSE*
Goblin Path (WIN/Linux) by Alexander Taylor

Goblin Path is a turn-based, puzzle combat game where a coloured tile grid determines your movement and abilities.
*BONUS*Electric Zine Maker (WIN/MAC) by alienmelon

I love reading these whenever they release, but I have a question. What does one purchase when one buys an issue of indiepocalypse?
You get all the games highlighted on the page and a small companion zine.
