DEFINITIONS:
- "Addon" refers to PaperSkeleton's GDScript (*.gd) files only. All other file types
(including but not limited to shader, shader includes, config, and texture files)
are freely shareable and modifiable without restriction.
- "Development Team" means a formally organized group of individuals or entities
working together under common management of a specific project using the Godot
Engine.
- "License Holder" refers to the individual or entity that purchased this license.
1. LICENSE GRANT
This addon is licensed, not sold. Upon purchase, the License Holder is granted a
non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:
a) Use the addon in Godot Engine projects
b) Modify the addon, provided that:
- Modified versions remain subject to all terms of this license
- Modifications are solely used within projects owned or managed by the License
Holder or their Development Team
2. RESTRICTIONS
The License Holder shall NOT:
a) Redistribute or resell this code, any portion thereof, or any derivative work
based on this code as independent or minimally modified software. This includes
but is not limited to: standalone tools, libraries, frameworks, or templates.
The addon may only be distributed as an integrated component of a complete
application.
b) Upon dissolution of a Development Team or termination of a member's involvement,
all rights to use, modify, or access the addon immediately transfer back to the
License Holder, who must reauthorize any continuing users.
c) Implement this addon in open-source projects where the source code would
become publicly accessible.
d) Remove, modify, or obscure this license notice or any included copyright
information.
e) Use the addon or its code as training data for machine learning models,
code generation tools, or similar technologies without explicit written
permission.
3. WARRANTY AND LIABILITY
This addon is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or
implied. The author disclaims all liability for damages resulting from any use,
modification, or distribution of this addon.
4. TERMINATION
This license terminates automatically upon any violation of its terms.
5. GOVERNING LAW
This license shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws
of the State of Washington and the federal laws of the United States of America.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Washington.
