LHD Module F
LHD's Module F is a 300 kW axial flow turbine for use in the LHD Tidal Generation 2 installation to bring the facility up to 1.3 MW of capacity. Module F is particularly notable as the first axial flow turbine at the facility, a divergence from the previous four installations. The unit is also distinct from modules A through D as it marks the beginning of modules acting as singular rather than dual units.
The image below shows how the unit being installed into the LHD Tidal Platform as a cassette into one of the seven compatible berths.
See Module A & B for a better view of the berths themselves and how the module appears post installation.
