Total coins to get everything: 72.490. :-)

The weapons are fun, and having a special skill when you max them encourages to play to get them all.

So cool!! The onl thing is... that music feels more like out of a cartoon from the 90's which kind of clashes with the retro theme, but I didn't really mind it.

The weapons however feel very fun to use and I love maxing them out quickly when I have lots of cash.

fun game, just love the jump of slime. they are cute.

thank you!

Pretty fun game! Ended up playing until I got 7:11 !
I enjoyed the upgrade system, and the vast amount of different weapons so you could focus on the things you liked! Thank you!

Pretty cool game, the art style is beautiful. I like the feel of the game, but the first 30 seconds after 4 or 5 upgrades feels very slow and boring. If worked on more it could be great!

Great game love the art style!

Thank you!

what a great game! i like how the goal seems so achieveable, but you're left with it dangling while you're SO CLOSE for a while. it's a great carrot on a stick! you did a good job of keeping all of the abilities visually distinct while not making them too distracting- i was always able to keep track of what's important, and i was never confused on what ability i was watching take effect.

is it done with updates?

(+1)

Currently, yes - this is as far as I'm developing for the time being!

ok, well you did good.

Thank you!

Just bought everything. Great game! Loved it

Hi, I played your game and made a video about it. Just wanted to let you know.

(+3)

Only idle game I've ever played with Gustav Holst music.

(+1)

I imagine it will continue to hold that record for you :)

(+1)

Was very fun to play!

Nice game!

Thank you for the fun experience.

Some suggestions:

  • Make it available for mobile as soon as possible — I would easily play it during idle moments as a pastime. (I tried through the web version, but the screen gets cut off, at least on my smartphone. If a direct port isn’t simple, maybe the best option is to create a dedicated URL for the game — you could even include ads there to help keep it online.)
  • Include an option to sell all upgrades for a percentage of their original cost, allowing players to switch builds.
  • Add more enemy types with clear visual differences to show which ones have more health or attack power.
  • Introduce a new weapon called the “Nuclear Bomb,” which can only be used once after purchase — then it must be bought again.
  • The weapon evolution should have a cost — it’s currently OP, and players can switch between both types without any penalty or expense

DAMN, that's alot of Slimes down! Haha, really fun, great game.

A lot of fun! The sound design was particularly good. Still sounded clear even in late game.

I think a little extra player onboarding at start of game would go a long way. I almost gave up in the first minute because I didn't realize the gold was carrying over between levels. Maybe make the first enemy slightly easier to kill (to guarantee at least one kill on first play), and then pause to explain the mechanic?

good - 7/10

very fun 8/10 for me

(+2)

why is this so fun

This was fun! The progression felt good, and it wasn't too demanding. The time for completion was good as well. Thank you

fun little game

i went blockade - explode - backshot - defense - defense - oneshot - slow- burn- freeze- slow

Can you tell me what strategy you used with that combo? Also I wonder if you can survive longer with saving grace rather than slow for the defense tower special?

good game

All the Evolutions only show 0 or 1, so you can't really tell what they do except try and guess from the title, otherwise a perfect little idle-ish game

Do you mean the titles or the descriptions?

(1 edit)

I have the same issue, description for the evolution only shows 0 or 1

Thank you both - this has now been fixed! :)

Spent hundreds of runs, but was ultimately able to survive for 5min before unlocking the beam (i.e. starting the 5min run before 30:00, ending before 35:00).

You have a small bug (folks below reported it, but without details): if one scrolls the passives tab down to Impatient / Very Impatient, and then click on the Upgrades tab, the Pierce button, even though invisible, is located right underneath the Upgrades button, and also gets pressed, thus purchasing a very expensive (and rather useless) passive ability.

Also, the build I used above to pass 5:00 was: max runes, max mouse, max seeker, max emp, max sword, hp up, thorns, impatient, very impatient. This build passes 5:00 very reliably (I'd say 4 times out of 5). The very same build without Impatient / Very Impatient almost never gets past 4:50. I think something is not quite properly initialized when Impatient / Very Impatient is enabled, making the enemies ever so slightly weaker.

Ah!  Good catch on the bug - I'll have to fix that...glad you enjoyed!

This game was so fun!! I couldn't stop playing. One thing is that I think it was the run when I had passed 3 minutes or something (I'm sorry, I don't remember the details), I got like 18,000 coins or something? But otherwise it didn't lag for me at all!

Great game! it's fun and simple, perfect for busy days. it's has potential to commercial launch. Just add one more hour of content.

Awesome game!!! Despite everything happening on screen it ran perfectly for me! (My computer is really good) I expected some kind of lag, but with the right specs it seems the experience is consistently smooth even past the 5 minute mark, even with enemies and hp and damage over time and duration and projectiles with their own pierce count and so much more- it must be well optimized :0

That's great to hear!  Glad you enjoyed it.

Great work!

Really great game, keep going ^^. Beside, the game is lagging after 4:00 in browser.

(+2)

Fun little game <3 And really cute! I also appreciate that it's possible to reach the 5 minute mark without using the mouse weapon at all and just using passive weapons. For those of us who prefer a more cosy mode or have trouble with fast or dexterous movements.
For something that's only a test, this is really neat ^.^

Thank you!

cool game. fun little completion challenge. I liked the progression aspect, especially at the beginning, before the blur of differently colored balls flying occured.

Great game!

Definitely left me wanting more

Great game, although maybe it could be optimized. When I play, it runs super slow. I timed it, and it took me 2 minutes and 21 seconds to get to the 1:00 mark. For context, I'm using a Chrome browser with 7 tabs open (simple sites that aren't actively doing anything). But still, I enjoy this game! Hope to see development continue, or see this come out on Steam at some point.

That's interesting - it's about as optimized as you can get for something like this.  That being said, I know HTML5 has its limits.  There is also a windows executable you can download that should play better.

This game is awesome! Is there a standalone version I can play directly in my browser, without having to download it or log into a platform like Itch?

Thank you!  You should be able to play without needing to log into itch.

fun little game, good job!

Thank you!
