In Flanders Fields

A TRENCH-MAPPING RPG

In Flanders Fields is a WW1 solo roleplaying experience where you explore the trenches of Flanders, map them out, and write about the events you witness or hear about. 

Your writings can be official military correspondence, a letter to a loved one, or a private journal entry. 

Roll four tables to receive prompts and begin mapping and writing. 

LEST WE FORGET

In Flanders Fields is meant to be a reflective experience of a time now over 100 years ago. The First World War changed much of our world, and its horrors are still remembered to this day. This game explores those horrors. 

This is not a heroic or "just war" experience. It is meant to be a contemplation of the terror soldiers experienced on the front lines.

It can be a heavy experience. Take what time you wish with it. You don't even have to participate. The art and poetry are, in my opinion, the better part of this project. I hope this zine offers some insight to those times and gives a newfound appreciation for those who sacrificed so much all those years ago in Flanders Fields.
