My name is Raul, AKA MelonadeM. I was born in Romania, and currently live in the United Kingdom.

I’ve been making music for as long as I can remember, and I’ve been doing work for various projects since 2015, doing a variety of things from chiptune works, orchestral arrangements, and work across a wide range of genres, with my favourite sound palette being the early to late 90s era, when digital instruments using short and crude samples dominated the market.

Particular inspirations, in no particular order, include the various works of the Mega Man series, indie titles, bands like T-SQUARE, and artists like Jake Kaufman, FearofDark and Garrett Williamson. I’m particularly moved by funk, jazz, R&B/soul and fusion, and will often indulge in other genres.
