It’s annoying to give all the wooden items to robots to fight the final boss while trying to craft upgraded swords and shields. It would be nice if there was a target level and the items weren’t put in a stall until we reach that level.

Bug Report (Windows build): When I launch the Windows version, the menu works correctly, but after pressing NEW GAME, the game does not run inside the .exe. Instead, it opens the browser version (the one with “JOIN FREE STEAM TEST” and WASD on the screen). Because of this, Local Multiplayer cannot be accessed, even though the update notes say it was added. It looks like the Windows build is redirecting to the web version instead of loading the actual game. Please check the Windows export.

I played this game for unreasonably long time and defeated the alpha final boss, I must confirm... The game is pretty good (and WEIRD).

The last few days game does not start and I see this in console (google chrome v144.0.7559.109):

I tried with different clean browsers (to make sure it wasn;t a cache issue) but I still see the same. 

Even the linux desktop version does not start.

It seemed like a very good game.

The game run ok on firefox 142.0.1 (64-bit)

Is there any way to become a beta tester? I have a few concerns and suggestions about the current state of the game that I would like to share.

At the moment there is a major issue with the object carrying system. When a player picks up items such as wood or other materials and tries to bring them somewhere else, there is a big problem.

If you walk near a stand, workstation, or placement area while holding items, the game will automatically place or interact with objects. Sometimes it also picks up other items from the ground unintentionally.

Another problem happens when walking near the robot weapon stations. If you are carrying multiple items and pass near one of these stations, the robots automatically take the items you are holding. This becomes very frustrating because if you were planning to bring those materials somewhere else, you can’t easily stop it. If you are carrying many items, you basically have to wait until the robots take everything before you can continue.

There is also another issue when there is no more space available on a table. Very often we end up holding items that we cannot place anywhere, and we are forced to wait until the resources move or until there is space again. I noticed there is a trash bin to remove items, but it is too far away and takes too long to go there, especially since these are materials we actually still need for crafting or production.

I think a good solution would be to add a confirmation interaction system, for example requiring the player to press a key like “E” to confirm placing or depositing items.

Right now the interaction is completely automatic, meaning items are placed instantly as soon as you stand near a table or station while holding something. Changing this to a manual confirmation system would greatly improve gameplay and prevent accidental interactions.

I can't tell if I'm doing this wrong or if there's just no way to automate crafting, but so far, honestly, this feels bad to play.

The fact that the little weapon stand A) sucks up materials like ore for them to fight with when you walk by it, even if you very much do not want it to do that and B) can't be set to automatically balance swords and shields so your soldiers always have one of each feels extremely stupid. At most that should be an extremely early upgrade to unlock.

Similarly, making the weapons stand bigger should also be an extremely early upgrade so you aren't stuck waiting around for enough little guys to come through and use up all the swords and shields you're producing.

And finally, as far as I can tell, there isn't any true way to idle this? Everything comes to a grinding halt if you aren't personally ferrying items back and forth between tables and crafting them. So it's a constant stream of frustration between having your hands full of less-than-optimized items, your stupid little soldiers running off with just a shield or just a sword because you dropped an entire stack of one or the other onto the stand, and running out of materials.

Thanks for the detailed feedback—I absolutely love it. In short, there’s one missing piece needed to 100% automate it and keep it 100% idle, and it’s coming in the next update :) 


It probably wasn’t the best idea to release the content pack at the same time as the automation upgrade, but we decided to do it so players can keep playing with something new instead of waiting too long for the update.

So, completed the alpha build here, and I'm curious if there are plans to release the full version on itch (or even on GOG).   I'd rather my money and support go to the actual game developers and a good distributor, so steam is not an option.

SUPER uncomfortable to traverse carrying useful materials, assuming these materials could be used at more than one station.

Technically, you can, but the full version starts differently—you can build your own world - so you probably don’t need your save from the alpha :)

You can get out of bounds with a hit from a boss. Is there any way I can recover my playthrough?

cant you just add a reset position in the setting? to get back at the spawn and keep the save?

The fix has just been uploaded. Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for the good idea for a possible solution. To be honest, I told our developer Dmitry that it was Friday evening and well past work hours, but he insisted on fixing it for the folks from itch—so here we are: Friday night, but with the fix :)

Cool game. As it is, in the alpha version, I feel like it has more appeal towards mobile players than desktop, being so grindy and timewastey towards the end. Maybe that'll be different in the full release. I enjoyed it.

Is there somewhere you're supposed to spend coins after building the first gem tower? I picked up a full hand without realizing there was nowhere to put them, and now can't pick up anything else. The recycling bin doesn't seem to accept coins either. 

You can load the Tower with coins. each coin deals 9 damage or so)

Just reopened the game and spawned in to check. I had put some coins into the tower earlier (if that's what you meant by loading it) but that was before I maxed out.

May I ask how you beat the bosses after the third one without building towers - the red ones with the orange crystals on top? Maybe it’s a bug; I should double-check it. Thanks for reporting!

I guess I am in the late game. I have nothing to spend my coins on, but my arms are full of coins and I can't dispose them in the trash can. So I am stuck, cause I can't pickup swords/shields to equip my warriors :(

There's absolutely an uncomfortable amount of monetisation present, particularly when this seems to be presented toward younger kids
Even just on the game side it would need some very basic upgrades, deciding where to go faster, being able to put equipment down and either waiting for all pieces or just being able to put down more - as it stands, every signpost you get is a further delay between spawning and actually going to do their job
Again, way too much marketing, makes it seem suspect, but otherwise would have to see if the game holds true to anything it claims to work toward

Hi! Thanks for reaching out. I’m not sure I understand what kind of “monetization” you mean.

  1. If you mean in-game coins used to buy upgrades, those are just reward items you get from boss fights.  
  2. If you mean real monetization (for real money), we don’t have any - ❤️ THE GAME IS FULLY FREE ❤️. If you don't mind - please send me a screenshot of what it looks like on your side - I’m very interested to see it.  
  3. If you mean the “Here is our Steam link” rewarded action, we’re just letting players know that we’re working on a full game that’s coming soon. The same is about our YouTube Dev Diaries where we filming the development process, maybe someone like content like that.

Anyway, I’m happy to update the game so it doesn’t mislead players into thinking there’s monetization, since it’s FULLY FREE. And thanks for the basic upgrade ideas - I appreciate it.

I think what they meant was the “Tasks” page with all the “subscribe to our socials,” “join our Discord,” and “oh, and play some random game on another website” stuff - at least that’s what I assume they mean.

While I fully agree it’s pretty clear there’s no monetization anywhere in the game and that it’s very obviously free, even to kids, I also feel like this reward system leaves a bad taste in an otherwise really fun and unique game. While it’s completely up to you to decide what to include, I honestly think the game is better off without it. I noticed it immediately too, and it instantly reminded me of those crappy phone games where you get a boost after watching an ad.

Anyhow, this is just my opinion. That said, I really liked the game and I’ve already wishlisted it :)

I love the concept, but i think it needs some QoL.
Like i have 10 sword in my hand, but i cant make them use them because i also have 5 shields that will go first. Maybe a different stand for each type of equipment and you can choose if they will skip some of them? Idk

Sounds like a great idea. We solved the issue in the full version of the game a slightly different way, but your idea of separate storage for different types of items is a good one - like storage zones in Rimworld or Dwarf Fortress. Thanks a lot for sharing, and please let us know what you think about our solution when the Steam playtests start.
