These are my submissions for the Music Style Imitation Jam. The theme was Pokemon, a franchise I had never played much of, so I had to do a fair bit of study. Pokemon spans many platforms over multiple decades, resulting in a very varied collection of soundtracks. I couldn't decide on which to imitate, so I chose the oldest and the newest. I wrote a battle theme and expressed it in both chiptune (as would be found on the original 1996 Gameboy game) and as a fully orchestrated production. I absolutely took some creative liberties with both and I apologise for nothing.
