Really fascinating to see how the goalposts shift when I openly confront the idea Patricia Taxxon being on tumblr was somehow dangerous.
Now the issue is she’s racist, is “weird” with minors (which means what, exactly, now? Sure, that sounds really concrete), and the fact she spoke openly about how she lied about her age to get into adult spaces because they were the only places that had the resources and community she needed as a child and how she does not blame any children for doing the same. (Funny how context matters.)
The idea that people are getting “passes” because they’re marginalized is such a right wing idea I’m not even sure how you got here. Are you going to tell me off for using my “race card” too when I say I’m Black and most of the examples I’ve seen of Patricia “being racist” are either wildly misconstrued or like the type of white-ass shit you see all over this website and yet she’s still one of the few being targeted like this.
And, shocker, it does not excuse the harassment she’s facing.
If I didn’t speak up about bigoted harassment for other people because they’ve said something possibly bigoted before, I would literally almost never say shit.
And how fucking spineless a life that would that be? If I only spoke up against bigotry for the “perfect victims” of it, as in the ones who don’t exist, because there will never be a perfect victim in the eyes of people who are willing to attack them.
This is what I was talking about in my post where I mentioned proportionate responses and how trans women need to be able to fuck up without people trying to kill them (which is what harassment, especially transmisogynistic stalking, sexual harassment, misgendering (like you’re doing!) and suicide baiting does).
Obviously this ask is not genuine, you’re one of her harassers (I know this because I got several asks like this in unison only after one of her big stalkers reblogged my post) but I thought I’d post this anyway for clarity’s sake.
