Very unique drawn art style. This game introduces the reader to socio-atypical family dynamics, which in itself is a very complex subject. Though I was able to follow along with the story (even through all the sudden time jumps), the pacing was ultimately very rushed. It needed more space to fully develop the ideas/questions presented and to allow the reader time to digest. As it stands, it delivers its message(s) via punch after punch.
So, the premise is interesting: exploring a trans man’s worries about becoming a parent and his relationship with his (cis) wife. But it feels very rushed. The flashback scenes happen suddenly without any kind of transitions and we go from scene to scene at the speed of light. This makes it very hard to grow to like the characters.
Visually, the sprites we have are good, but Bianca being so small makes it hard to really see her. the backgrounds are nice too. Nothing to say for the audio part, it’s fine.
Overall, there are interesting things here, but can’t really appreciate them.

Fun fact: Bianca was originally planned to be even shorter. Not to mention the fact she is (very slightly) older than Artie.
Fun fact 2: Originally I was planning to add some breather text to the original script but ran so short on time I had to drop such plan to focus on Bianca's sprite set.
this was great! admittedly it took me a little too long to understand the chronology, but this made me emotional. i'm cis and don't want a family, so i appreciate when there are stories like this that make me consider an issue i haven't thought about before. i know the backgrounds are rough but i really love them like that. artie's antlers are cool, too !! thank you
Fun fact:originally, we wanted to have a scene in which Antie removes his prosthetic antlers to reveal his hidden growing spikes (as a result of being on T for a long time).
For those who don't know about deer, spikes are the very first set of antlers a deer grows in their life. As Artie never had any prior to this set, his antlers grow as spikes.

I love this so much! As a transmasc person who wants to have a family in the future this resonates so much with my own fears with it.
