It does pop! Just keep whacking!

Thank you! I was aiming for a piñata style clicker. Would’ve loved more items as well but that’s just what you get with a 3 day jam!

Haha I had no idea you could do that! I did a ceiling so it wouldn’t go off screen, but I didn’t put any walls! It probably went off to the side and then swung up and got stuck on the roof!

haha yea it’s meant to be a bit of a pop-up surprise. I’m glad you had fun!

I love your idea for this jam! The animation of the horses kicking at each other when they're upset is super cute - and so are all the other animations and artwork! Great SFX and music as well.

This is fantastic! If I had to choose my favorite game so far it would be yours for sure! The instructions were clear and easy to follow, the SFX and art are super cute, and the overall experience is very well polished. Great work!

There should be a full screen button on the bottom right corner on the itch page. I couldn’t figure out to make it work without playing in full screen.

oh no! I’m sorry it was off for you. I had it set to 1920 x 1080p since that’s what most monitors are at. I’m glad you were still able to get some fun out of it!

Thank you! I can’t tell you how long I spent mulling over color palettes haha

Yay! That’s the goal!

Aaah I had that idea too! Sadly it was almost deadline time so I couldn’t add it! I’m really glad you found it enjoyable regardless.

thank you! I’m glad you thought it was polished - I definitely felt like there was more I could do, so that’s very nice to hear!

Thank you!

Haha thank you! The shop sound effect is actually a horse snout & exhale noise. Ya know, for the horse theme and all.

1342! This game is super well done and I genuinely lost track of time playing it. I love the different colored horses as well - super cute!

Woah! Considering you only had a day to make it - this is pretty great! As a chess lover myself, I have to say the chess pieces looked fantastic. It's a simply concept, but I love how you added variety with the enemy types and powerups. This was fun - Great work!

Wow! The art is phenomenal. I especially love the way your horse character tilts side to side on the slider bar part - such a cute touch! It did take me a second to figure out what to do, so a few more indicators to help guide the player would be nice. Otherwise I thought this was great work for such a short time frame!

This was super fun! It's a simple game but I thoroughly enjoyed it. And the lasso sound effect does something nice to my brain.

Haha I love that. I did think it would be funny to give him a googly eye that follows the mouse and some kind of "ouch!" face - but I didn't have time to implement it!

Thank you!

Thank you! I’m happy you enjoyed it

Thank you! The physics was definitely a challenge to implement, but I think it made for a fun experience!

I’m glad you liked it! I intentionally made the game shorter so other jammers could finish it faster and move on to playing other games :)

Stunning visuals! A horse doctor is hilarious. I do wish the platformer portions would've been a bit easier. Otherwise great job!

Fishing to make money for a horse divorce is a such funny concept. I do wish the difficulty would've been toned down a bit - maybe it's just my luck but it took a while to get any catches. Otherwise I thought the world design was fantastic. I especially love the sign by the pond telling you to press E to cast your line. Great work!

This is great! A little buggy, sure, but its a mini jam so no sweat! The art style is super lovable - especially that main menu screen - I really love the attention to detail in it. If I could add one thing, it would be some kind of finish line to better indicate laps. Otherwise great work!

This is fantastic! The art style is super cute, the SFX and music fit the energy really well, and I had a blast playing it! I'm glad you added a feature to invert the controls -that really helped a lot with handling. Gotta say - being able to just catapult into the air towards an enemy is very satisfying. Great work!

This is a really cool concept - it makes me think of duck life as a horror game. I was wondering why you called it Horse Builder at first and then I got to the... horse building? Crazy game. Would've loved some SFX to add the suspense, but otherwise I thought the presentation was great! I love the art style - something about the way the horse limbs move during the race is so uncanny. Great work!

This is so funky, I love it. Not sure how I got first place with 74 seconds, but I'll take it! The sound effects sell the experience so well and even though the artwork is very minimalistic - it gets the point across and I actually think it adds to the charm a lot. I also really loved how you had pop-ups showing the mouse controls to explain how to play. I thought that was really clever and clear. Great work!

This is super cute! I love the artwork and the UI is beautifully laid out. I only wish there would've been some sound effects or fun music to go along with it!

Music and SFX are from Pixaby. All other assets were made by me!

Thank you! I'm really happy to hear it!

Haha yes - I noticed your game was using Dialogic as well! It definitely beats manually coding text boxes. Godot for the win!

Haha and I’m glad you enjoyed it! If it helps - papers you don’t submit on time won’t be scored.

Thank you! After I submitted and started finding other games interpret the theme differently I was worried people might not get my game!

Thank you for leaving such a thoughtful review! If I had more time, I definitely would have revamped all of the UI elements. In hindsight I agree that there could have been a little bit more juice around clicking on the mistakes. I'm happy you thought it was cute and funny! - I'm the best artist in the world but I figured a little humor could help add charm. Thank you!

Thank you!

Oh that's a really cool idea! I hadn't thought about rewarding the player for correct answers. And thank you for the kind words!

Woah - thank you! I'll give that a go. And I'm glad you enjoyed it! I had a friend playtest (their native language is English) and even they didn't find all the mistakes!

I’d love to hear some constructive feedback! I’m especially interested in hearing about what aspects overall I could work on improving for future projects!
