Lots of minigames here! Impressive for getting it done in the time frame! It did seem like the games lacked some cohesion (there didn’t seem to be a relation between them), but good job on making all of them.

I liked the visual effect that was applied to the tiles in the sliding tile minigame!

Cool game! Compared to some other games, I appreciate being able to hold down the shoot button compared to having to click for every shot.

Not sure if this was intended, but I couldn’t seem to choose the direction the gun was shooting (though that did add an interesting strategy element).

Cool game overall!

Cool concept! I noticed that it seemed to be the case that the flood fill only worked after I switched to the other color, not sure if that was intended, but if so, maybe the player could auto switch to the other color after a flood fill completes.

Cool game though! Reminds me of some games I played 10+ years ago.

Awesome game! Revived my interest in making games :)

Very unique idea!

I had a hard time getting the chickens to go where I wanted, but still a cool game! One minor bug, I was able to infinitely pan the camera to the left or right, so maybe it could be clamped to just outside the start and goal.

Interesting take on incremental games. I have never seen one where you lose all progress if you have a bad round. I didn’t get too far as clicking a lot is strenuous for me.

Sound and artwork was well done!

Interesting idea! One potential change is allowing the mouse button to be held to keep attacking, as having to click like 3 times per enemy when there’s hoards can be strenuous.

Guessing you ran out of time to implement restarting the game or maybe you used some global variables, but in case you didn’t know, you can use get_tree().reload_current_scene()

Cool game!

Interesting game. I noticed a few issues with the character controller, like when I am moving in a direction while in the air, the game seems to act as if I am still holding that direction until I let go. It also seems that I can’t jump while next to a wall. Still a cool game!

Nice art style! I see some inspiration from a certain among us minigame haha. One suggestion is to allow other binds to advance dialogue (such as enter or space, as pressing the same button many times can be strenuous). Very polished experience over all, and had an ending too!

Interesting game. Reminds me of cod zombies with the powerups dropping. One suggestion would be to allow left click to be held similar to right click.

I was going for interpretation of the “countdown” part of the theme since your mana counts down as you use spells.

I’ll add a link to https://regex101.com/

Cool game. The hitboxes were a bit small on some things like the couch, but still interesting idea.

If you like regex games, check out my other one from 4 years ago, Regex Adventure (a web version is available) https://thinkwithgames.itch.io/regex-adventure

Interesting idea. I wish the text used a different font so that it was easier to read. I might be missing something, but is the game just soft locked once I can’t make a word?

that doesn’t hit anything, is it possible you mean to use c.* ? The * repeats the previous character

You’re right, there was a lot of potential. The game is now on Steam!

The game is now on Steam with even better aesthetics and 100+ levels!

Thanks! It’s now on Steam!

You want more stages? Well now there are over 100 levels on Steam in Early Access!

You are correct, it turns out there was a lot of design space haha. The game is now in Early Access on Steam with over 100 levels! And planning on more on top of that! https://store.steampowered.com/app/3333330/You_Are_The_Code?utm_source=itch_comments

More levels you say? Well the game is now in Early Access on Steam with over 100 levels! https://store.steampowered.com/app/3333330/You_Are_The_Code?utm_source=itch_comments

AND - keeps spots where cells are active both in of the bottom columns

OR - keeps spots where at least one  of the two bottom rows is active

XOR - keeps spots where at exactly one  of the two bottom rows is active

"User typing levels" is still experimental, not sure how I want to integrate it into the gameplay

It seems to work for everyone else, is that right when you start the game? Or did you go into the custom levels and do stuff?

What OS are you on? (mobile isn't supported if you happen to be using that)

===========================

BUG: The initial screen that tells you to drag tiles only goes away when moving one of the tiles to the other row. Apologies!

===========================

Thanks! Yeah I thought about expanding so "X side does NOT see this color". Also adding more tracks, and satisfying views from the bottom and left. (This is already in this version, but more interesting situations could be made with it):

AB

POKE

The view from   "above" can see A, B, K, E

correct there are only 2 rows. The "top" is what can by someone from above (imagine this was tracks for video editing software, the top most item at each X position    takes priority). The "right" is what would be seen by someone standing on the right side.

do you have a screenshot? Like were you having trouble dragging? Or it wasn't detecting when it was beaten?

Are you rearranging them? (also totally possible that there is a bug, there's only 2 levels, with the ending saying how I only worked on the project for 2 hours specifically for the jam)

It could also be issues with raylib running in browser
