Hey, I played the game for a bit and find it quite interesting!

I'd like to report a few bugs before I publish my gameplay video:

1) There is a weird bug where the mouse camera would randomly jump out of place (like a rubberband lag feeling); I fixed it by enabling VSync in the Nvidia settings, in my case 165Hz worked perfectly fine with no issues. Adding a VSync toggling option as a temporary fix would be great!

2) You cannot use the mouse to drag the sliders of either 'Mouse Sensitivity' / 'Volume' from the ingame pause menu; I can only control them if I click on one and use the Arrow Keys on the keyboard.

3) The game defaults the resolution to 1920x1080. I changed mine to 2560x1440 which looked like it worked. The problem is when you start the game the pause menu still shows 1920x1080; I changed it back to 2560x1440 but it didn't seem to have done anything. I assume it was already set to 1440p from beforehand but only the text ingame didn't reflect this change. (changing the resolution does actually work, it's only the text that doesn't show it from intro to the ingame pause)

I'll report more additional bugs if I encounter them. Thanks!

Cool game! Loved the story and the visuals. Game ran smooth with no issues. I included both endings in my gameplay video. Thank You ❤️

Amazing game! Loved the pacing of it and the blurry PSX nostalgic graphics; Often I would forget about the gameplay and just admire the scenery around 🥰

I initially played the first version of the game but I had to lower my main monitor's resolution to 1080p (and turn off all the other ones) since it was bugging out on 2k (either jumping from one monitor to another or going window mode during the different scenes). I tested the version you recently uploaded and it seems to have fixed those issues, So props to you! 👏

Can't wait for the full version! Good luck! ❤️

Great game! Interesting concept with all the arcades representing a different horror story game. Loved the first part so far; I thought initially the monster is from the SCP 106 story but they only look similar. Gameplay was fun and the graphics looked really good! Some parts around the end tanked my FPS a bit given the all the gas/smoke effects and the flickering lights reflecting off the objects around.

I'm curious on the other arcade horror games now. Best of luck with the Steam full release!! ❤️

Wow what a beautiful game in it's own. I really loved the VHS look with the red sky, the scenes felt ripped out of a nightmare, definitely gives you an eerie feeling all the way through.

Gameplay is solid with no issues; I would say the flickering lights in the bathroom scene were a bit intense.

I included all endings in my video and I was about to mention that it would be nice having a chapter selection as I played on v1.0; glad to see you pushed an update today!

Overall amazing game! Great job! ❤️🥰

Wow this game was insane! Quite disturbing I must say, and even though the graphics were PSX, it still gives an unsettling feeling while playing. Lots of attention to details which I really liked; the subtle changes really made a difference.

Regardless game issues or bugs; in my video at 07:03 you can see as I can still turn on the lights yet the power was supposed to be out, not sure if this was intended or not (only tested on v1.5.9; not v1.6.0); also, I think it needs a bit of optimization when the main scary event happens, I think it's the different filters which might tank the PC.

Overall amazing game, looking forward the second chapter! Good Luck! ❤️

Great game! It looks amazing and it runs pretty smooth. I think I should've played the first game beforehand since I got a bit confused on the story.

Looking forward the full release! Wishing you all the best ❤️

I'm really glad I found this game; I absolutely loved playing it! I liked the constant feeling of uneasiness and the subtle scary noises. I appreciate that it's not a linear game so you have to revisit areas to gather clues or items. I think the puzzles were nicely balanced, neither too easy nor too hard. The game reminded me of a Fallout 3 atmosphere with the collapsed buildings searching around for loot; also some bits of SCP game which I really love! I covered all secret items and explained the puzzles in my gameplay video within the Youtube chapters.

Thank You for creating this, I really hope it gets more exposure!

I'm looking forward more games from you. Best of luck! ❤️🤗

Short silly game 🤭 Everything ran smooth. Voice acting was amazing too!

Good job on your first game! ❤️

Great game!! Smooth gameplay mechanics and a nice little story. I really dig that pixelated filter with the unsaturated colors. The enemies were quite tanky I must say, felt like I was shooting an uzi instead 🤭

I also recorded my gameplay of 'Mortise' but I have yet to edit the video out before publishing it 🫡

Can't wait for more of your games! Keep it up! ❤️

Hey, I wanted to point out some game problems/bugs I've encountered. I will post my gameplay soon after 🫡

(SPOILERS BELOW)

.

.

.

.

1. Morphine items respawn on load. If you use a morphine item to heal up, save the game, and then reload, the item reappears in the same spot; I don't think consumed morphine should respawn back.

2. Slow movement in the Subject 07 red blood room jumpscare. In the red room with the girl crying in the corner, the player movement speed slows down; when the event finally ends, the movement speed doesn't go back to normal, and you are basically stuck walking at a very slow pace; save/load fixes it.

3. Boarded door with planks can be opened without breaking the planks. You can open the door and close it regardless of it being boarded with planks; you still can't enter the room, but it just looks a bit odd in my opinion; it ruins the curiosity of what's behind the closed door.

4. Narrow jail area causes unavoidable deaths. Regarding the jail area, it is quite narrow so the monster pretty much blocks the whole pathway with his wide hitbox, causing you repeated deaths like when trying to get into the to fix the valve (in that closed square space), or entering the jail cell to, or picking back up an item you dropped in the cell since you couldn't hold both the valve and the main room key.

Wow I loved this so much! The game is really polished and has some unique textures and models which I haven't seen before; sound effects were crisp and the music really fits the eerie winter atmosphere. I also loved the RE-style closeups for items and characters, the shading and color were nice to look at.

(SPOILERS) One thing to mention:

I only tested this once, but I had a run where Truman wouldn't attack while chasing you up the stairs. If you stop in the middle of the stairs with Truman right behind you, he becomes a statue and you can 'inspect' him; he still chases if you keep moving and only kills you at the top.

Overall solid game, can't wait to see more games from you! ❤️

Great game! Wished it was a bit longer though, it got potential!

Keep it up 🥰

Thank You! I'm glad you enjoyed the video!

Great game I liked it! I can't lie the first attempts were giving me quite some trouble since I didn't know how subtle the changes might be, especially seeing so many lights 😵‍💫

Though the more I played the more I enjoyed and figured out how stuff work so I had fun in the end! I liked that you had to specifically point out the anomaly rather than 'guessing' if there even is one in the room like other games.

A tiny inconvenience of mine was the constant sharp spark sound which kept playing in my ear every 3 seconds while I was trying to look for anomalies around, it was a bit distracting; I think muffling it a bit to make it sound more dull would be nice. Btw I loved the main background song, reminds me of the Mafia games.

Overall, solid game! Looking forward the full release! Good luck!! 😇❤️

What a touching story 🥹 Loved all the cinematic shots throughout the game and the smooth character movements!

Really well made game I really enjoyed playing it; Looking forward more games from you! ❤️

Insanely good game demo! The graphics are really nice looking and the whole atmosphere is truly horrifying. Right off the bat I noticed the smooth camera movement, which I loved a lot; there's something about that slight swaying and snappiness of it that makes it look really realistic.

Wishing you all the best with the Steam full release!! 🥰

Great game I liked it! The cooking mechanics were quite simple so serving the customers became fun fast! I didn't encounter any bugs or problems throughout the game, all went smooth. Thank You 🥰

Thank you so much for the reply! Wow that totally went over my head; I checked the book beforehand but for some reason I skipped the very last second 🫠 I will continue to play and post my gameplay soon! ❤️

Amazing demo! Visuals look crazy good and the whole setting gives you a claustrophobic feeling. I also liked the VA, the voices fit quite well. No problem throughout the game, although it was a bit too tanky to run at 2k resolution in my case, so I switched to 1080p instead.

Looking forward the full game release! Best of luck! 🥰

Hey, I tried the game for a bit and it looks cool so far! There is a problem though, I'm not able to give the drink to the 3rd customer (Coki+Chicken Rice), the chicken rice goes through but when I try to give him the drink it doesn't let me; so I'm not able to continue the game. Will wait for a fix, good luck!

Cool game I really liked it! Thank You for sharing! 🥰

Wow what a fantastic game; those landscape shots were truly mesmerizing. Insane visuals and smooth animations + solid gameplay mechanics. The game is also quite well optimized given the foliage and the many miscellaneous items scattered around. I liked the fact that it's not filled with jumpscares every other minute, but rather built up for the perfect moment; the whole grandparents place setting gives off both a nostalgic and an uneasy feeling.

I'm really excited for the full version! Wishing you the best!! 🙏❤️

Amazing horror game! Loved the eerie foggy visuals and the terrifying meow sounds 😰

Congrats on your first game release! ❤️

What an interesting game. Loved the creepy vibes it gave and the stressful music. It is quite short but it's made in a way that you don't actually feel that; it's really addicting and fun I must say. Well done! 👏 Been quite a ride I must say, but I managed to get 38 seconds 🫡

You can check my walkthrough if you want; I placed chapters for each of the coin so it's easier to follow 😇

Also, try downloading the game again and play from that new folder, maybe you have an older update.

Hey, My first YouTube video was me playing 'Kiosk' and I'm so happy to see you released another horror game! The improvements are quite obvious and impressive!

Onto 'Cold Rails', truly amazing! Had a lot of fun playing it; I really loved how polished the game is and how visually pleasing everything looks. Even though the jumpscares weren't overly loud, they still caught me off guard 😭

Looking forward to the full release. Wishing you all the best ❤️🙏

Amazing game! Loved the PSX visuals that you kept throughout your games. Solid gameplay, unique story and smooth interactions. Really had fun playing this, great job!

Thank You for sharing it! 🥰

Thanks for replying! I thought I was going insane searching for it lmao; but I'm glad it's fixed now!! And no problem, I like looking for secrets/easter eggs in games in general.

I will have to edit my gameplay video a bit before publishing it. Thanks once again 🥰

Cool game I liked it! The game was a bit shorter than I expected though; it's got a solid foundation, you can expand easily off it. Wishing you all the best 🥰

Hey, I believe the last coin has to be bugged (not the ones below)

(spoiler first 2 coins) near bible
confession booth

I believe the 3rd coin is hidden in the last few days although trust me I've searched in every bits of the map and there is no coin around. Everyday I searched inside the wardrobe/desk drawer/confession booth/chairs + every other bits around map. Could you please test this itchio build and let us know that you can actually collect the last coin? I've spent so many hours but to no avail 🫠

Thank You!

No problem! Hopefully you can pinpoint the culprit. If it helps, it feels like the major events objects aren't loaded beforehand, so when the event hits, all the new objects and animations load at once. I assume that would cause a 'hiccup'; and since the screen freezes for a split second, the player basically misses the event (like a jumpscare). I feel like I've seen this behavior in other Godot games but I'm not sure how the engine works behind the scenes; still, there has to be a workaround.

That being said, your first released game is amazing and deserves the attention it's getting! Best of luck with your work ❤️

Very cool game! Really loved the wintery foggy vibe. The gameplay is solid and everything feels smooth to interact with. I did notice a few lag spikes here and there, not sure what caused them, they happen on major/unexpected events. On a second note, I would add a mouse sensitivity in settings.

Overall amazing game! Keep it up 🥰

Nice game I had fun playing it! Spooky atmosphere with nice visuals and solid gameplay mechanics. Great work ❤️

Great game! I liked the eerie scenes and whole vibe of it.

Thank You for sharing! ❤️

Cool game! A bit short though, the ending was a bit rushed I wasn't able to read the text in time. Game's got really nice visuals and a lot of potential. Also, really loved the credit's song! Good luck with the projects! 🤗

Lovely game! I liked the uniqueness and the intriguing storyline of it. I was really hoping for multiple endings or easter eggs given the different dialogue choices; maybe I just missed them.

Regardless, Thank You for sharing this! Looking forward more games from you! 🤗 ❤️

Amazing game I really enjoyed playing it! I liked how unique and polished the game feels; the funny segments were also a great addition!

I wish you all the best with the Steam full release, I'll keep an eye out ❤️

Cool game! Thank you for sharing! 🤗❤️

Incredible job I really enjoyed playing this! Well polished game; the VA and sounds are really clean and immersive. Also, great job on the optimization, all ran smooth on max.

Wishing you all the best with the full release! Can't wait! 🥰
