Finally I had time to resume this beautiful game. I remembered not to press the SELECT button , not to activate the mode (ghost LOL) . If I understand correctly it is possible to play the first scheme, that of the villa, while the others are reachable only if you finish the first level ? Or will the others be available with the later versions? I noticed a bug, that is, if I took the phone and then I left it because I needed the life preserver, the cell phone disappeared and was no longer there. E1 reappeared in inventory after talking to the owner of the villa. So I was wondering if it was a wanted thing or not. Another thing if you remain short of life points, you have to get out of the scheme and treat yourself, when you return all the objects are absected, but the doors open and the objects found remain. It would be nice to be able to leave the collected objects, inside the inventory, while those found, leave them exactly where they were abandoned moved. I still haven't figured out how to find new bullets for the gun. However it remains a really nice game.

Congratulations

Ah ok I didn't know about this mode. I will do other tests being careful not to press the mode button by mistake, I think it corresponds to the select button.

Thx

After about 40 minutes of play, there are errors.
The protagonist crosses the walls and it is not possible to interact with people, not even with the car.
Tried with Mister FPGA using 2 different emulative cores, the problem is found in both versions of the cores. Also with Open Emu Emulator. Sometimes the error happens almost immediately, sometimes after many minutes of play, especially when you take the ladder to go to the roof. Unfortunately Fusion I can not use it because it exists only for windows or for old Macosx versions.
Do you only try the game with Fusion, or do you also test it on real hardware with everdrive or similar cartridges? What other emulators do you use?

Here is the video of a few minutes to make the error clear.

When I have more time, I'll record a game play from start to finish.

Great I'll try them today thanks

Unfortunately it only exists for Windows and if it does not detect errors that others detect, it could be unreliable during the debugging phase. Better to use a real megadrive or other multi-platform emulators.

Also tried with OpenEmu same error.

With the latest version I have an error here is the video.
Rom used is version 0.50 on Mister FPGA
This error also happens if I use the woman or if I change my tongue.
In previous versions I have never had such an error

Here is the video

With every version that comes out, I see many improvements, congratulations. I think 1 Euro, is more justified for the enormous work you are doing. I hope the final version comes out and also a physical version. A unique game in its genre. As soon as I have time I will make more game plays. Anyway, if it may interest you, there is a recently launched website exclusively dedicated to programmers for retro consoles and retro PCs, where you can post the ROMs of your projects and possibly sell them.

If possible, I would add some simple scanline effects for a flat CRT, or scanlines for a curved CRT, and separately the option to enable or disable CRT blur and flicker. After several minutes of gameplay, it becomes bothersome.

Hello .

Very interesting your game.In addition to the Linux and Windows version, in the future you also expect a version for Apple with Apple silicone processors?

fantastic wow thank you very much

Can you have CDI or GDI of the game in CDI or GDI format, so you can use it with GD Emu on a real dreamcast? Converting it with the various tools does not work.

Game done very well, perhaps the final boss too difficult to knock down, you have to hit him in the giousto moment otherwise impossible to hit. I finally managed to finish the whole game. It could be a oroginal game for NeoGeo MVS, congratulations

Here is the second part, soon the other parts will come.
I thank Dale Coop for letting us know.

Very nice game, I really liked it. Too bad he found out late. Here are the first 2 game play

From the gameplay video, it looks like an excellent game. It would be amazing if a version for a real Commodore 64 or 128 were released, both in physical and digital formats, cartridge or disk.

I always use the Mister  FPGA

Played at the demo, very interesting as a game. In some respects it recalls the first Zelda, for others not. Especially when you have to understand what levers activate to be able to proceed in the new areas. Do you plan to create a physical version of the game?

Thanks and congratulations for your work.

Wowowowo! That's great... As soon as the final version comes out I will try it. I hope also in a physical version on cartridge. Congratulations.

Very nice video game, fast , with a Japanese anime manga drawing style 90s. One thing I would improve, the balance of the fighters. Sometimes some fighters are more advantaged than others. For the rest very nice. I hope for a final version. Congratulations.
ps: Consider Seriously Starting a Kickstarter

Here is the review made by the NGOF guys.
Nice game, even if it requires 2 pads to play it.

Gioco molto interessante. Consiglio di aggiungere un sistema per salvare le partite. Una grafica testuale per visualizzare le stanze già visitate, ed eventualmente alcune immagini dei nemici o armi trovate, sempre in stile testo o pixel. Possibile aggiungere magieo pergamene? Complimenti per il tuo lavoro.

I download and try this new version too.
Congratulations on the game.

I leave the review made by New game old Flame.

In the updated demo version, we tried to defeat a boss, but we had run out of ammunition. You would actually need a shop or areas where you can find ammunition. Thanks for the valuable information. Wonderful game

Very nice game, we can't wait for the version to come out with the ability to save the game.

I play very nicely. The icons had deceived me, thinking it was for PC. Question, but is there a punt or rescue? On mister fpga the save state does not exist for the Megadrive core. Would it be nice to introduce it, or does it exist and I haven't seen it?

Tried with the mister Fpga, using the Amiga Vision system, it turns well but set the system to PAL and the Amiga OS screen in pal, otherwise the images are broken.
During the game play I don’t hear a soundtrack, it seems strange that there is no soundtrack, while shooting at the enemies.

Ok I will try to check the recording and when we improve we will do a new game play.

Thank you

Amazing! It also runs perfectly with the mister fpga.
This game has captured me.

Humiliated and taken many beatings, but I don't give up.
hahahaha

Amazing. Congratulations!

Gameplay released on NGOF.  Wonderful game

Played and recorded the game. That's very interesting.

Congratulations.

ok Maybe I found a working setup, although a few times, after several game over, the screen remains black, during loading and I have to restart.

Setting up:

CPU 68010,
Chipset video ECS ,
Chip RAM 1 MB ,
Fast Ram 2M
Kickstart 1.3
PAL video mode

If I put higher or lower resources even a little is not going, or better charge but then crash goes

Tested to load it on FPGA coaches, but often big problems at startup, black screens, or loads the layer without mentioning the number and then crashes. Or error Guru Meditation, Error: 8000 0003 Task: 00006E7A. Used A500 with kick starter 1.3 and 1 Mb ram

Okay. After hearing the programmers, I recast more tests, always using the Mister FPGA, setting the machine with the original bios, Europe zone and machine in ARCADE mode. The problem has never occurred. Thank you

I encountered an error, during the reproduction of the introductory video. The game was spinning on Mister FPGA using the ultimate core available.
I'll set up the pictures of the error.

Simply fantastic , I still have to understand the moves , but done very well. I hope that in the final version there is more interaction with the background objects, such as burning bins or other, to be used to your advantage and some power ups that can be collected along the way. It would not hurt to also have some sort of store between one stage and another, such as knuckles, shin guards, harness or otherwise that could add points both in defense and attack.

When will a demo come out for the NeoGeo version? Will it be compatible with Mr. FPGA?
