Porridge horror: cozy and comforting, nothing particularly scary, everything is explained via exposition so you can just turn your brain off and make some cocktails. Maybe a more refined, wintery atmosphere/soundscape would make this the go-to horror over porridge game.

The least interesting way to go about this concept. A walking simulator, going from a-z (and repeat), toggling jumpscares as you go along. No lore to decipher, no tension displayed, just the usual uninspired Unity asset-flip slop.
We've probably all seen atleast one "last moments caught on camera" video, a good (and more known) example would be the Elisa Lam, Cecil Hotel disappearance. What makes it creepy is the ambiguity: what took place after the tape, who was this person, how did they get into this situation—these questions you're left with should be the very foundation of what makes this premise tick. Why opt out? Why not make these tapes more mysterious and subtle, does it really need to be a big loud monster stalking you everytime? Have the player try and put the pieces together themselves.
a waste of a good premise.
would be amazing if we had available alternative image options, other animals (like a dog's paw) included, a community to download images from, duel monitor set-ups (only shows on primary monitor), and not everyone knows (or has) the tools to be able to make their own creations how they'd like it. i'm struggling myself to find a suitable image that isn't watermarked. i could see myself using it if these were all sorted.
