Sorry to say this but I don´t like the additional Solution for solving the final Puzzle.
It has two big Problems: Putting the C into the Place it belongs is too finicky, i just gave up because this thing just doesn´t reliably get placed where you need to put it in, it only works on a way too tiny spot in the Hallway, this should just work even if you are not on the very exact milimeter the game wants you to stand. This clearly needs more Playtesting.
The second Problem: It doesn´t really tie in to the original intended Solution which is also included in your Remake.
There are hidden Textflashes and reversed Audiomessages in different Languages that you put from the original Game into your Remake, all these Messages combined in the right order give you the Instructions to solve the final Puzzle of P.T.
In case you didn´t know the Steps for doing the final Puzzle are: Take 10 steps and then stop because there is a hidden Line of dialogue in the game that is reversed.
If you play corrected it it says:
I walked till i stood one pace before Jack.
It´s simple Card game logic,
ACE 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 Jack, Queen, King.
This is why you need to take 10 steps and than stop for one of the Babylaughs.
Then it contnues: Heartpounding, I whispered his name.
I hope you get it now: That´s why you need to say Jack into your Microphone.
btw. Jack is also the only Word programmed into the Voice Recognition script of the Original PS4 Game so now it´s 100% confirmed that this is the intended Solution without any shadow of a doubt.
You should already know the Rest because I sent you the complete English and German Translation of every Text and Audiomessage for solving the final Puzzle already... you put the German ones into your Game remember?
Maybe I am just dumb and don´t get it but your added one should also tie in in some Way to this to make it consistent with the rest of the Game, just my Opinion.
