Great game! Feels good to play. I like the music. As others have already mentioned, laser shoots both ways and destroys the heart in one shot. Some enemies start shooting before they even appear on screen, while there is no way of protecting the heart from the projectiles. Other than that, everything else is good.

Seems like beam attack goes both in front and behind the player. It's also annoying that snake enemies often shoot while not on screen so you are bound to lose health. I like that there are these tank bois that ricochet basic attack to your heart making a single attack spam not an option. Neat game, could use extra variety of enemies? or maybe some attacks could erase enemy projectiles like a bomb?

Additionally in my opinion the lack of attack/hit/death SFX is a tremendous downside in such game.

This is a pretty neat game with a cool idea. While it is fun being overpowered in the firepower department, I felt quite underpowered when it comes to stopping enemy projectiles from hitting the heart as there is no way to interact with them as far as I’m aware. The big laser would also sometimes just destroy the heart even when it’s not in range. Some sound effects and maybe some ‘juice’ would also really help elevate the feel of the game. Also specifically a small browser-build issue, but the nuke is a bit restrictive since right-clicking outside the game window isn’t possible and the large area the nuke covers will damage the heart, making it not that viable of an option. Overall the game was pretty good, good job!

This is a really cool game! Being overpowered definitely changed the way I went about playing it, it was really interesting to go from spamming abilities to being more strategic!

Cool game! Great aesthetic and fun abilities. The minigun is especially satisfying to spray. A little frustrating the enemies would shoot will offscreen but otherwise, really enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing.

Really cool idea! The concept of not hurting the thing you're supposed to protect is cool. Though would have loved a way to protect from enemy projectiles, or at least kill before they had time to cast. Great game!

The idea of a game where you are so powerful you are your own enemy is really cool, especially when you need to use different spells not just for the sake of damage output, but because different spells risk damaging yourself in different ways.  You executed it really well too!

My only issues are

1. the laser spell instakills the heart for whatever reason even if you fire away from it

2. there seems to be no way to reliable stop projectile enemies from doing damage

Great concept, props for the idea, sounds very interesting to me. As others already said, the fact that there are unblockable projectiles (doesn't really matter where they come from) is a bit sad, cause you can't do anything about them. And while different attacks are cool, I really didn't see a reason to use anything other than easily controlled minigun, cause anything instantly dies to it anyway.

The music and gameplay really shine here! I liked the fact that you start overpowered. I wish there was a way to block projectiles or leech enemies to fill the heart so that the runs would be longer.

Awesome game, simple, fun, clean. Doesn't feel like it fits the theme well, but great work!
