The level design needs some work difficulty wise, otherwise its a pretty good game! maybe add enemies aswell! reminds me of bloodthief on steam.

How does the game fit the theme?
The game is set in a strange place (weird desert mega structure) and just a weird atmosphere overall.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Some sound fx and textures are taken from a library I own/ or available for free for anyone to use. Everything else was done by me :)

This was fun. The visual style was very consistent which is key for a great looking game! I wish there was more variety to the gameplay, and I wish I was rewarded for exploring. The level design was also pretty solid!
I can't remember the last time I was so afraid of falling down. I had a ton of fun.
cool game! i enjoyed the twist on the default 3D platformer. on some ocassions the jump would cancel out the player’s velocity resulting in quicker falling. But overall i think this is a solid demo.
There seems to be an issue where vertical velocity is still being added and when you trip over the edge without jumping your character gets rapidly yeeted downward but otherwise it's a cool looking platformer game; reminds me of launching myself with a doublebarrel shotgun in team fortress.
if you mind, you could please rate my crappy game :)
A fun parkour game with the familiar Quake-doom style. Couldn't reach the top after many deaths, but the problem is on my end...
I don't know if it's that I made it or it's a bad end but I made it to the top and get out on the "roof". I could see a cube maybe 30 metres away from me, so I wanted to walk over to take a look, but after a few steps, it took me straight back to the menu. Is it normal or ?
Anyway I enjoyed it, it's a great game. Would have loved some additionals mechanics with wall/jump but the level design is fairly rich enough for a game jam imo. Good job!
I made it to the top. This was great. I also made a first person platformer. If you wanna try it, you can check it out. cheers...
That was really fun and completely wild, I loved it.
Great job !
I’d love to hear your thoughts on our game as well if you get the chance.
As an old Quake-head who also played a lot of Soldier in TF2, this was right up my alley. With a little bit of tweaking on the gun knockback, this could become a fun action platformer. The style and level design was cool.
Universe is definitely strange. Give me some quake vibe idk ahah That incremental jump is fun.
Feel free to test our game !
Can you actually finish it? It just cuts to the main menu after you reach the top.
Man, it took me a bit to get the concept, but once I did, haha, I found it SUPER fun, for real! I think this prototype could totally turn into a full polished game that would give hours of gameplay!
hell yeah? hell yeah.
took me around 10 minutes to finish. the platforming is very satisfying with this one, pretty cool idea you got there. The gravity felt a little off sometimes, I was jumping over then shooting but turns out if you jump above the spikes they pull you down so fast the shooting doesnt propel you upward, then found out if I dont jump and just shoot immediately it works, dont know if its a bug but if its intentional then the space button is kinda useless.
other than that the movement felt good in the air and the platforming gaps are really well placed! the art in this game is really cool, the atmosphere, brutalist environment and the colors of the world reminds me of a movie that I can't remember the name of. its awesome great job!!
It's a lot of fun! I really liked when I discovered the ability to blast myself horizontally instead of just vertically, and i think the way you pushed the player to figure that out feels very natural and not hand hold-y. Crossing any gap feels really satisfying! It'd feel a bit more satisfying if there were landing sound effects (i can't quite remember atp if there were or any step sounds or not), or just any big impact after a big jump/fall. Also some crazy music in the back would help too, because the whole vibe of this game teeters on either dystopian hell or badass "doom" hell, and music would help make that more clear. Visuals were great! Awesome game.
really nice art style, had to pull out my old tf2 rocket jumping skills on this one!
Had a lot of fun with this. I think you did a great job on level design too!
