Love the concept and the art. Clever way to introduce the controls as well, and a lot of thought clearly went into the character designs to telegraph each customers weakness. Nice work
I have been trying so hard but I finally managed to male 10 people uncomfortable. It was mostly because I had my mouse already hovering over the areas.
My first game tried on itch io ahah, I think this game is excellent, the ost is very nice and it was a pleasure to tryhard to reach the 10 customers scared (~1hour) :)
Excellent short experience. Really gives off a front page Newgrounds vibe but much more polished and addicting. Made sure I saw (and scared) everyone off before I stopped. The Hunter X Hunter reference was nice.
I kind of wish there was an Easter egg for when you don't scare anyone off. Maybe the 20 second timer doesn't start until you scrae the first person, or you go on a date with them? But making an ending for all 67 people would be a lot. Anyway, great effort, and quite addicting to see all of the characters.
I thought there might be an easter egg if you manage to scare off the owner/bartender/bouncer somehow. it would be pretty cool if you could put them off by staring at them long enough.
ugh this game is a timesuck in the best way. ik it was for the game jam, but bump it to 30 seconds and add a roguelike upgrade system or a storyline (maybe you have a recurring character who's weirdly attracted to your rejection), you could have the boss battles be really beautiful people omg

Short but not bad at all especially for being made for a gamejam. Trying to get a highscore of most stared at was pretty fun. Made a video on it.
