fun little game music was a jam and i also liked the art style maybe adding a background would be nice the wobbling idle animation was a nice touch  and the way they lean when they got the right drink was cool too one thing was it seemed like i could cover up the drink area with my player so making the player ignore clicks maybe have been a good move or possible update def a cozy and enjoyable game

Developer

Thank you!
That's a good idea I hadn't considered yet- I may do that for the post-jam release, thank you!
And thanks for playing the game, too!

Submitted

no problem it was my pleasure

Art style is great .... Fun game overall... Great work!!!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your saying so!
Thanks for taking the time to play!

I think they came to play a D&D game.
(I liked the game. Interesting style! The only thing that I think needs to be fixed is not to allow the player to immediately give orders from the pick-up point, bypassing delivery to the tray)

Developer

Haha, yeah, and the DM is currently enjoying things a little more than the players... XD
Thank you for playing! The drink-dragging definitely makes it too easy, I agree.
Good feedback, thank you for writing your review!

I really like the character style and the interaction with the tray!
Mine actually broke near the end of the game too :(

Developer

Thank you!
Yeah, sorry about that- I'm not exactly sure why it's doing that, but it definitely takes the fun out for no good reason.
Thank you for playing and writing up your review!

The gameplay loop is fun, although i noticed you can just drag the drinks directly to the clients if they are on screen, and i like the art style which sadly couldn't be fleshed out fully in time it seems.

Developer(+1)

Thanks!
Yep, I almost had the background done and added by the deadline, haha!
I agree about the drinks, it makes it less fun.
Thanks for writing up your feedback, I appreciate it!

Which key to use to give the drink to the customer?

Developer

Ooh, sorry, I'm just replying to comments now-
You only have to drag them onto the customer.
I'll be posting a post-jam version pretty soon, in case you want to give it a shot- otherwise, thanks for trying out my game!

Submitted(+2)

I really liked the loop; it's fun to remember products and then find and hand them out from memory! It's great, but I wish it was more visual, otherwise, it's top-notch!

Developer

Thank you!
I've already drawn and added a background for the post-jam version, because you're so right! The gray backdrop is a little bland...
Thank you so much for giving me your feedback!

The characters look cute, I wish some more enviroment where around :) The Tablet to carry the Drinks broke on my playthrough - but over all the base concept of a serving / barkeeping Game are done and work just fine! Nice!

Developer(+1)

Thanks!
Yes, those are two things I fixed immediately after the submission deadline, haha...
If you happen to check back soon, I'll upload the version with an illustrated background!
At any rate, thank you for testing out my entry!

love the silly goofy characters, game feel really nice with the wobbly movement feedback!

Developer

Thanks! It was a lot of fun to figure our that squash and stretch motion in Godot.
And thank you for trying out my game!

The game is fun, art style is great but, felt a bit to easy.

Developer

Thank you!
That's a good point, I didn't add logic for the customers to get upset and leave yet- so it's a sure win, haha...
Thanks for giving it a shot and writing a review!

This art style is awesome!! Maybe I was playing it wrong but I couldn't get any GP. But I loved the move controls and sliding around!! Nice work! :)

Developer

Thank you!
Clicking on tables with coins while nearby should add the GP to your total.
Your entry was great, by the way! And thanks for trying my game!
