When a game just tells you to do tasks/chores, it isn't going to be fun or interesting, it's going to be work and the real world has enough of that already.
I'm developing CybreonGames, an underground platform focused on curated web games, freeware, and indie projects, with a strong emphasis on community and human curation.
I recently came across your game, and it fits really well with the aesthetic and direction I'm building for the platform.
I'd love to feature your game on the site — not as generic content, but with a dedicated space, developer profile, and proper visibility within the community.
CybreonGames also includes internal forums, a built-in social network, activity feeds, and direct messaging between members, allowing developers to interact directly with players inside the ecosystem.
The goal is to build a space where developers aren't just another name on a list, but an active part of the platform and community.
If you're interested, I'd be happy to talk about how we could integrate your game in the best way possible.
Hey bro, just asking out of curious, why didnt ur game showed up in new and popular category, or popular category? Am I the only who thinks itch.io's algorithm working weird in 2026 than 2025? I felt like, before the algorithm was clean and perfect, but from 2026, I feel it isnt working properly as it is supposed to be. Btw this is a cool game, i already gave my feedback on ratings. It perfectly captures the experience of the grandpa, and atmosphere is just amazing.
I mean, based on the ratings you have, u should be at top, but it isnt, why? I think something is wrong?
Hello! Thank you for your kind words :) Typically, popularity is determined by the number of comments and ratings received within a short period of time, for example, within 12 hours (as far as I understand). The game does not have many ratings, and comments on videos are rare. I believe that due to the abundance of bugs, people do not complete the game :(
Okay, I wish you luck! But I don’t really think this game is buggy. Its a nice game, it should be in the top 10 most popular by now. I checked the “New & Popular” tab, and most of the games there were actually released a few years ago, recently updated, and then pushed into the “New & Popular” section. Not just one or two games, but most of them are like that.
thats fine, but it’s not just this. I feel like it’s behaving very differently compared to mid–late 2025. I might be wrong, Im not completely sure but I’ve been observing the algorithm since 2025. From what I can see, something seems off with the algorithm. Maybe Im mistaken, and I could be misunderstanding something, but that’s just my observation.
Before, it was pretty smooth to get at top, just recently it was, all you need was a good game, but now.....
You might already experienced how the old algorithm worked before, with ur previous cool projects. Did you felt that too? Like something is off now?
Its a really nice game, it perfectly captures the experience it was aiming for. I’m just a bit confused about why it isn’t performing that well and why it doesn’t have total 5-star ratings overall.
Personally, I didn’t encounter any bugs. There were some minor performance issues, but overall it ran smoothly on my GTX 970.
For what this was, it was not too shabby. Just had a few bugs and one where when I interacted with the grave during the deer hunting where I got teleported to the house and couldent move. Apart from that, solid story and everything else. Made a video on it.
About that. Literally anyone here can can view your recent posts on itch by clicking your name on any of your posts. And report them from that summary. By the way whats with promoing a Call of Duty long play on itch.io?
a game about a man who lost his wife i guess and can pick up broken glass with his bare hands, close doors out of nowhere, summon whiskey, write without a pen or pencil, chop down a tree in a few seconds, shoot deer in one shot, and fast travel. objectives aren't that clear though still good.

The game is great up until the point where I drink the whiskey and go to bed; after that, I just get a black screen. Everything works fine until then.
Thanks for finding the bug! I'll fix it :)

Honestly, I don't think the algorithm has changed much. In my opinion, compared to Abodtion, this game performs worse :)
Alright, thanks for your reply! :D

I really think it deserves more recognition.
Good Game 👍
Excellent game.
Included this in my 3 random horror game video!

Amazing game and story. Waking was a little annoying, ahaha. But the rest was great :)
Thanks !!! ;)
This is the wrong game lol, and you are just spamming this on every post.
