I got to wave 369! It got so bad that I couldn't see the wave number anymore, except when the platform lowered. It seems it'll go on forever with the right stats. By the end the game it was very laggy and my pc was definitely not happy about it.
The dice seem to multiply when you double click the lever too quick. And the roulette seems to glitch only when it is touched while moving.
High score menu and pause menu would be a very nice addition. Very fun, addicting game!
Fun game! Got to wave 15 on my first go. I agree with some of the other comments that I think a different art style would really make this game shine. The concept is very fun and I'd love to see a full release!
I didn't meant in the "poor me the developers abandoned me" I meant it in the way "the prototype seems finished so the bugs are probably gonna stay there" which when you take into account the first point is my way of saying: "It's a pity they didn't found investors to make this a full game, because it's a great prototype". English is not my native language, so sorry if it sounded aggressive.
Ok, thanks for the clarification. We are finishing other projects right now so this prototype will probably not get any additions. Maybe in future it will be a full game, who knows!
This game looks really good! The visual style is clear and works well, and the core idea is immediately readable. The gameplay loop is simple in the right way and quickly becomes addictive, which is not an easy thing to pull off.
That said, there are still some rough edges. In the later stages of the game the turns take too long to resolve. I ran into a few bugs, and the balance needs another pass. Once you get going, the difficulty curve flattens out hard. When level 20 can be cleared in the first round without taking a single hit, the game starts to feel routine rather than tense.
Overall, it’s a really strong concept with a solid foundation. With some bug fixing and tighter balancing to keep the challenge alive longer, this could easily turn into a genuinely fun and memorable game.
Why is the all-green, all-attack build so nice? Because mobs die in 1 hit, bosses in 3 hits and once the wave is cleared the balls left in attack tiles will just insta pop = fast waves ...and No the glitches I triggered dont help the gameplay at all
I think this is where I'll stop. My poor laptop needs a break from overheating, and there is no "pause" feature that would allow me to stop and come back later.
My Max HP: 4,745
My Max ARM: 3,495
My Max Damage: 6,873 aka (4745/20)*29
Some important notes/advice I can give after spending far too much time on this browser game (as of writing this message):
-The max level of coin you can hold at once is $150, and the max multiplier from the gold ball is 11 (11*Whatever Slot)
-Always put the widest slots in the middle to increase the odds of a critical. You must aim to get as many of the crits as possible, as if you don't, the enemies will overpower you faster than you can upgrade
-Balls that do not land in the wheel are not counted, and will return to their place in the tube once the turn is over
-There is no max HP or max ARM limit, or if there is, it is far beyond a reasonable playthrough... or my device strength
-The balls take effect (from the tube to the wheel) in order of right to left, and will not change in order
-If you still have balls in the wheel when the wave is won, the game will cycle through their effects. If you have enough balls, you can wait out the timer for a wave to transition into the shop. While in the shop, any (non-damaging) effects from the balls will carry into the next wave {I suspect this to be patched in a possible future update, but considering how finnicky the requirements for this "glitch" are, and how far late into the game you have to be to achieve this properly, I think its a worthy edition}
-The green HP multiplier ball is, as of writing this, the only way to increase the max damage ceiling beyond an 11 multiplier. I cannot overstate how useful this strategy is once you reach a high enough HP total

Nice one!
how do i mute the music?
I love it, but its very lou
yesdon't know how to use the little upgrades...I mean the balls are self explainitory but the other thingys are not.
banger, tho the 'repeat effect for each $15' is busted... I love it
Made it all the way to Wave 51! Only reason I stopped was because I have work tomorrow!
But man was this game worth it!

I love it, it has been very addicting, but i definitely broke the game
Edit: i made it to wave 130 before i got bored and closed the game

uh, what are the controls for this game? clicking the spinner of the roullette wheel does nothing...
you pull the lever on the bottom middle, it has a light on the top of the lever
Esta muy bien, lo único que algunos iconos en la versión web no se distinguen muy bien pero por lo demas esta muy bien.
1º: The game is fun, it deserves a full release on balatro style.
2º: The game is bugged-semi abandoned by it's creators. Endless mode buggs the roulette visuals.
3º: I don't understand how people increase life, I don't see the option.
It's amazing that someone can call a prototype, which is obviously a prototype, which was made in a week, "abandoned" ...
You increase life by getting criticals with the green wedges

Also thank you for the gain life clarification

got to wave 20
Very nice game, max wave i got so far, congrats

money indicator position (on left) is really bad to see, probably center on screen
the description of item to buy , is very confused on right side on screen, probably a popup/modal window
when get armor item, i guess a small animation / particle is better , I miss the VFX in the game, but is a good execution
Does not work with WIne or Steam Proton on Linux (Mouse doesn't register correctly). Play the web version.
This is just a creative game. Gives inscription vibes. A unique random element to a ttrpg rogue lite. Even if it is gambling.
THIS ONE DUDE KEEPS SHIELDING

Absolute bangers, never let anyone tell when u need to stop gambling, not even yourself (yea i really need a pause button)
needs some polishing but is really really addictive, well done
so good but please DO NOT limit the ammount of money to 150 golds, I could have hit 180 golds in one round man !
if it wasnt limited then the yellow balls would be too insane.
you could 100x your money each spin
Such a great game but some bugs

you need to upgrade ur max hp before doing it so its a little bit complicated
very sweet gameplay loop and I really dig the style
needs either a skip button or speed multiplier, either ways Great game
Cool game. Have to ask, though, any chance of a Linux build?
realy cool game
