Hi Linux user here (Debian 12), I'm playing V0.82 and when I got to the date where they were going to make tomato soup and grilled "cheese", after the hug-greeting it looped back around to the beginning of the game for some reason? So yeah, I can't progress.
Oh, also, the game refuses to save my settings.
(But please don't take this as an insult, it's a good game otherwise!)
Hello! Please start from a fresh save (New Game from the start menu) if you're getting a looping issue and progress from the beginning of the game.

Hi, after trying this, it played the aforementioned tomato-soup-date-hug-greeting, and then played the intro. So I don't think that helps. Do you happen to know where the save/tribute/etc. data is stored on my computer, so I can delete it entirely?
That's the intended intro to the game. If you continue playing that file, you should be able to progress.
The format of the intro takes after many doujins marketed at women: start with something fun and spicy, then return to the beginning of the story.

I'll add another line at the beginning of the game so the player knows the first hugging scene is a prologue.
I was really enjoying this game a whole lot, but then I got to the scene where you make Spaghetti and meatballs, and I noticed something that completely destroys the narrative of this game, it wants you to make the spaghetti first, which is WRONG! you do the meatballs first, then, you start the water, then, once it is boiling, you do the spaghetti. Then of course, you put in your tomato sauce, please, fix this, oversight, as otherwise, this would be a 9/10 experience, but as the product is shipped now, it barely manages a 2/10
We are truly sorry about this experience!
We not chefs therefore we have never made a good spaghetti & meatball.
Also if you cook the meatballs first why is it called spaghetti and meatball and not meatball and spaghetti. It would make the order of operations a lot more clear that way.

Why did the prologue hit so hard... I've felt like I have been wandering for the past 6 years.
is the downloaded one have better image quality?

Sorry to bother you but having issues with download. It downloads a blank document, went to compress file then extract and still stays a blank document. Looking forward to playing!
Hey! Sorry you're encountering issues. If you're having issues with the windows version, you might have to use a file extractor that can extract .7z files like WinRar or 7zip.
