This is a cute idea, the setting is well done and the control scheme is unique!

Improvement feedback:
- I would have liked to see the idea a little more fleshed out - I noticed that you added controller support which is pretty cool for a jam, so well done there, but that feels like the kind of thing you could maybe add afterwards in order to leave more time for content.
- A little bit of narrative introduction or worldbuilding about the environment or the seal you're playing as would have made the experience feel more full
- The controls you added and the underwater zone and the collision on the ice floes is well done, I think some more sound design would have made moving around as the seal feel more immersive
- Had a couple wonky moments with the camera, mainly when moving through the tunnels

All in all though, a great effort for a team of two! The seal concept is very cute and fun to navigate. Great job to both of you!

Thank for you feedback!

we did our best with the time we had! On my parts, life got a little into the way of the jam and could not dedicate as much time as I would have hoped, so it was an unforeseen scoping issue for me.

Glad you liked experiencing being a seal!

I'm sorry but I couldn't figure out how to play, the camera controls were so awkward, I couldn't turn around at all. Is there a way to play it in full screen? Love the seal and the bubble cursor though, it's very cute!

Thanks for your feedback, the camera rotation is quite a weird behavior… Maybe you had the bug were you need to press the escape key twice to lock/fix correctly the mouse?

Thanks for the suggestion, I gave it another try but it still didn't work. I managed to get to the end of the game though, the ending is very sweet!

I really enjoyed the maze section because I felt like I was going somewhere I wasn’t supposed to, like a secret area. So it was a wonderful surprise when I made it through! Great job!

Thanks!^^

Like others have said the tunnels were a bit confusing but the rest of the game was nice, the underwater looked nice and was fun to navigate and the seal was very cute! Ui was very nice, including the itch page itself which is impressive! I wish there was more to explore outside of just the tunnels but it was still a fun enough experience, good work!

Thank you!^^

Really fun concept! I could def use some facts about seals in the loading screens though! Games like this are great for connecting people to less understood or endangered species.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! that’s a great idea, funnily enough, we actually did research as part of the jam process to interpret actual seal survival within gameplay parameters. Glad you liked the concept!

The game is kinda… Hmm it has room for improvement. I couldn’t play the whole game (I got lost in the massive snow tunnels) but from what I did play nothing really stood out to me… I’m sorry. WAIT. The UI Looked good! I love myself a good godot UI you guys themed it well.

Cute little guy!! I like the underwater ambience, but could use some more sound cues. I found it hard to tell if I'd successfully eaten a fish or not so a little munchy noise would be good. Similarly, would be good to have some sounds that warn you that you're getting dangerously hungry/low on air. Thanks for sharing your game!

Developer(+2)

Thank you for playing and for the feedback! ^^
I agree  that clearer audio  cues  would improve the experience a lot. We had limited time to polish sound and everything  but it’s definitely something I’d love to improve.

Stunning scenery with the underwater area!  The tunnels confused me a bit, I would have loved a bit more of a direction for the exploration. The lil seal is super cute, and I love the little bubble cursor too.

Thanks, it’s all TamayX’s works, she is the MVP of our jam! Coding gameplay in 3D was longer than anticipated, I would have liked to offer longer gameplay experience, but we had fun and we really got the cutest seal ever!

Developer(+2)

Thank you!🦭  I’m really glad you liked the seal and the bubble cursor . The project evolved quite a bit during development, but your feedback about clearer exploration is super appreciated. ^^

Looks very nice on a screenshots, didn't launch though, so there's that

Developer(+2)

Sorry to hear that, you have to wait a little for it to load. 🥲

Submitted(+2)

I tried again, and it's loaded :) was giving me some weird error about .pck file before

Cute concept with a cute little character. I was confused at what I was supposed to do. I slide around the tunnels for awhile and then got some fish and found my friends. Well done and good job overall :)
