how does the Chasm special room work? Do you just decide which diagonal the chams runs across yourself?
It has four exits, so I’m assuming that means the way you came from, and then either a left or a right. So i can just pick which i want and that defines where the chasm lies, i guess?
Currently on my first run, a delightful experience so far (first scvm was ripped apart by a Basilisk Spawn, second fell into a Hellvent, third is about to descend into the catacombs.) A couple of questions: 1. Regarding "pre-emptive strike" special (Basilisk Spawn and Wickhead Assassin have it) does it apply on every combat round, or just the first one? 2. The "Brutal" Boon: the +1 bonus is for attack roll or for damage roll? 3. In case one of the scvm kills the Arch Cultist, but still dies (either alongside the Arch Cultist or afterwards by the power of Verhu), does the next scvm has to fight another Arch Cultist when entering the lair? 4. "future scvm may recover dead scvm items" does this include mandates? Phew, that's a lot of questions, sorry) ...and also found a couple of typos: Wickhead Assassin's block: "...of be hit with..." should probably be "...or be hit with..." Dusk Troull's block: " a another Troull will appear" the a is obsolete. Basilisk Spawn's block: "...be pre-emptive fire blast..." should be "...by pre-emptive fire blast..." Treasures: 4 Monkey: "...can be sacrificed it to avoid..." probably should be "...can be sacrificed to avoid..." 5 Crude Armour (Absorb d2 damage in combat) maybe should remove "in combat" to be in line with regular armour? or is it intentional?
We tried this out the other day and it was extremely fun! It took between 1 to 2 hours, and our dude almost didn't make it, but we managed to succeed! I think we'll try out the Tunnels of Nechrubel supplement next. 😁 Thank you for making this.
